Enjoyable family stay
Stayed with both my teenage boys during a summer visit. Great apartment, even though in the basement of owners home it was bright with big windows. Owners were very responsive to questions and beds were very comfortable. Would stay there again if visiting North Van in the future.

Simple and Clean
Everything about this property was simple, convenient, and clean. You could often hear footsteps from the tenants above, but it wasn't very loud, so it was fine. Would stay there again for sure.

Trouble getting access
The only problem was accessing the property once we got there. The access code did not work so we had to phone to get another code number while standing outside in the cool and rainy weather.

Everything from the communication, the preparation, the cleanliness, the actual physical space, the location, the kindness of the host was above expectations and outstanding. My kids wished we could have stayed longer. With a family of four kids, the hotel world is much more complicated and limited. This allowed us to enjoy many of the comforts of home living (quiet neighborhood, ease of getting in and out of packing/unpacking car, yard space) whilst on vacation in a beautiful vibrant city. The washer and dryer was a huge help with little kids and spills on clothes whilst traveling. Would stay here again!

Great neighborhood; new and well-appointed property
We rent properties often in the Vancouver area and this one stands out for its great location, good build quality and complete furnishings. The build is newer and very professionally done, and unlike some properties, comes complete with good furnishings - a nice, large dining table with 6 chairs, a big couch, three big chairs, end tables, and excellent king and queen beds. There are big, nearly walk-in closets in both bedrooms with a great deal of storage. The kitchen is large and very functional, however, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking, I would make sure you assess what is there and bring anything important to you, as it comes with just basic needs, and limited tableware and glassware. It is a below ground basement unit like many in the area, but does have large window wells (including windows that open) in all rooms, which helps open up the space. The pictures on the website were very true to form and helpful. The neighborhood is very quiet and secluded, but is quite close to very good shopping as well as great hiking opportunities. It is also very close to the many recreational features of the Lynn Valley area. The owners we met were friendly, helpful, and responsive.
