「The Tamarack Inn is an old property that is massively in need of modernisation. Their restaurant is closed, some equipment did not work. The place seems to be popular with energy workers looking for a cheap place to overnight. My wife thought that the bedroom we had had no change of bedlinen. . We were given one towel set for two people.the one bright spot was the front desk attendant who tried her best to address our concerns. Bottom line, a pretty basic overnight. 「Property is 2star at best. Beds were clean, but that’s about the only positive. A/C unit looked like it was just thrown into wall, you can hear alley traffic as if there was an open window, room looked half remodelled, holes in wall where water pipes stick out. No temp control, no lock on inside of door. Multiple burn marks on furniture and bathroom fixtures. I got this property because I was looking for a cheap overnight stay. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!」
