“Pleasant rooftop restaurant and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean. Was surprised to learn that A/C was only available at an additional cost of 25000 Ariary (about $5 USD), and there was no fan in the room to make the heat bearable without A/C. The room had two beds in separate sleeping spaces, but the A/C was not powerful enough to cool anything other than the bed next to it. There was an electrical panel just outside the louvered door by the bed, and some circuit on the panel……

“Our stay was extremely disappointing due to serious hygiene, food safety & service issues. We felt completely at the mercy of the staff rather than cared for as guests. We repeatedly found insects in our food—ants, gnats, mosquitoes & beetle like bugs across multiple meals. I have a plethora of photo/video evidence. After sending dishes back the issue continued & staff denied responsibility. We eventually ate in the kitchen to inspect food immediately & still found insects in several dishes +……

“Breakfast is continental with various additions. It does the job of getting the day started. The staff are attentive and will get you anything you want. The rooms are simple but clean but they do not have any air conditioning just some fans . The rooms can get very hot and it can be difficult to sleep. There is no fridge or coffee making facilities. Bring your own shower gel and soap as the hotel only provides a non scented soap stick for cleaning yourself. There is TV in the room but ours only……

“Also dieses Resort von Philippe dem Eigentümer ist das Beste das ich von mehr als 100 Reisen hatte. Wir lebten hier wie sprichwörtlich Gott in Frankreich. Das komplette Personal äußert freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Abendessen immer ein Traum. Langusten, Zebu-Filet alles hervorragend. Die naheliegenden Inseln ein Traum und auch Nosy Be selber sehr schön. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Danke für den freundlichen und familiären Aufenthalt.”

She is one of the most kind and genuinely caring people I have ever encountered. Roger took me out on the boat to go snorkel with the turtles. These beautiful giant creatures are not to be missed. But please - look but don't touch. Last……
