"Beautiful place. Perfect for solo travel. Love the vibes and is perfectly placed right on the corner of the busy trip. Would definitely stay here again. The room is also cleaned daily which was a nice touch due to being at the beach all day the room gets sandy quickly so it was a pleasant surprise to have the room cleaned to perfection everyday. They also have laundry on site and many restaurants near by. "

"We stayed 5 days at Corail Noir hotel in a bungalow and had the best of times. The tours they arrange are very well organised with multiple language speaking tourguides. "I have just spent 10 days in this great little hotel. I booked an ocean view room and the view from the room and balcony was superb. The room was spacious and well equipped with tv, kettle, sink,microwave,fridge and drinking water provided every day.The bathroom was also well appointed with toilet, washbasin and rain shower. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard and importantly, the airconditioning worked quietly and effectively. The room had a comfortable double bed and there was plenty of cupboard space. The hotel is absolutely centrally located to the bars and restaurants and next to the hotel is a short path leading directly onto the beach. It was possible at night to hear the very slight beat coming from nearby bars but the room appeared well soundproofed and certainly there was no problem in sleeping. The best thing about this hotel was without doubt the staff. They were all extremely friendly and helpful and always tried to help in whatever way possible. You were greeted each day more as a friend than a customer and any minor problems were quickly sorted. There is a pleasant dining area/terrace where you can eat or simply have a drink and watch the world go by. I would like some thicker seat cushions as the seats are not the most comfortable! If/when I return, I will certainly rebook this hotel."

"This was my first visit to the island resort. They were very welcoming from the start. Even though I didn’t speak the local language, they were very pleasant and polite. The accommodations were very nice and private. The food menu had many choices and appealed particularly to the French and Italian people. They only suggestion I would give is to have another menu to rotate into the mix. The beach was beautiful and very accessible to the hotel guests. The walk to the beach is super close. There was always a tuk-tuk driver available to take us to town and they were always friendly and accommodating. I do recommend this hotel but be prepared for the many short “normal” power outages that occur daily. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The facilities are nice. The location is great, a short walk to the beach and all of the activities, but set up the hill away from all the noisiness of the beach and the clubs at the beach.The staff was amazing and very accommodating. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip to the area. My only one small issue was that food and mini bar items can’t be paid for with credit card at the end of the stay, it has to be cash, which was not initially stated, so make sure you have enough cash or are able to use one of the local electronic payment types. Overall, I think this is one of the best accommodations in the Nosy Be area."

"The resort was beautiful. The beach, the pool were fantastic and the rooms were good. They offered some good excursions and the kids club team were great with our daughter. On the negative side, Andilana Beach Resort targets a very specific demographic, Italians. This should have been highlighted as everything was in Italian, including all the entertainment, which limited our enjoyment. The language barrier was also a bit of a challenge, as we spoke very little Italian and most of the staff spoke limited English. The food was also specific to the demographic with more pasta and pizza on offer than we could handle. There were a few other options, but the quality was average. The resort could benefit from incorporating more local cuisine more regularly. We did get local options on the excursions, which was really good. Overall, the resort was great, the staff were great, but we struggled with the fact that everything was in Italian, which we did not expect from a French speaking territory."
