"Booked this room (220) for my grandmother's memorial. Drove from Azle TX. Upon arrival, there was broken glass in the front driveway. No elevator. AC in the hallways were not on. The shower curtain rod was falling down, literally coming unscrewed from the wall. TV did not work, had lines going through it as if it had fell and cracked the screen. When we asked about it, nothing was done, and then aproximadamently 2 & a half or 3 hours later while we came down to go out front to our cars, we were then offered to move rooms, after we had already settled, showered, ordered food. The trash cans in the room were ridiculously small. The sheets and covers had stains. While outside we saw water bugs crawling in the parking lot around the hotel front doors. The hostess had her children in the lobby, running around, binkies and blankets and toys on the floor as customers came in. And we got locked out at one point because their child locked the automatic door lock mechanism. The hotel itself and the rooms as well as the employees are not up to par and I would never stay here again nor would I recommend this establishment to anyone, ever."

"The resort itself gets five stars. The staff unfortunately only get two stars. Our room wasn’t ready until 5 o’clock because they didn’t have any clean ones available. We tried to eat at the Landshark Bar and Grill. The restaurant had about six tables already seated, and there was one group ahead of us waiting to be seated. The two hostesses looks so confused and took about 15 minutes to seat the other couple and ourselves, we were seated about 10 minutes and no one came over to let us know they’d be right with us or even acknowledge us so we left the resort and went out to dinner nearby. We finally get back to the resort around 8 PM and have two hours to enjoy the pool before it closes at 10.No staff offered us a drink poolside. We were ready to spend money but no one offered to take an order. I will say that the room was very spacious and clean with a great view."

"We stayed one night and for the most part there is nothing to complain about. The property was well maintained, the staff was friendly, and with the exception of a few missed spots (nothing that would stop us from staying again) the room was clean. The property is worth the money and if in the area again we will be back."

"Had the worst experience I've had in a hotel. They claim to be family and pet friendly. Pets are only allowed on the second floor, which is under renovation. Noise levels and chemical fumes are intolerable. We were traveling with a child with disabilities, who cannot be exposed to chemical fumes. When asked to be moved to a different floor we were told they couldn't accommodate us because we had a pet. We were given the option to "check out." We checked out around 6pm. The manager never reached out to us to discuss a reimbursement. Most of the individuals staying in the hotel are truckers or construction workers. I didn't feel safe having my 14 year old daughter taking our small dog to the front of the hotel by herself. People were smoking near the entrances of the hotel. Pool was closed...staff were not friendly or accommodating. So disappointing. Families stay away from this property!"

"The location was clean and inviting. The pool was smaller than precieved on the website lol but still clean and comforting... the staff was kind and helpful and funny... (love the week day morning lady that has been there for 17 years... she is cool!) Definitely will be back.... PLUS there is a texas shaped waffle iron in the breakfast room!!!!! Awesome.. and the batter was yummy as well... thank yall for the awesome mini vay-cay... Buuuuut.... the wifi did not work the entire time we were there... we got two different passwords that never worked and we were told it was"being worked on" the entire 3 day stay..."
