Room on 3rd floor at the back with terrace but slightly disappointed as the garden onto which the terrace looks was not maintained to a good standard compared with other areas. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our stay which is the second time we have visited this hotel.”

“We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment - it was clean, spacious and had a huge balcony overlooking one of many pools. The property is huge (recommend a buggy if you have small children) which meant you never felt crowded, had the choice of lots of different restaurants, bars and pools. The property is beautifully kept”

Trotz täglicher Nachfrage und Zusagen für den nächsten Tag, nichts geschehen. Omelettes nur mit Käse und Schinken und seeeehr langsam und wenig absprechend zubereitet. “The PortoBay Blue Ocean was a brilliant first hotel experience of the portugese Algarve for us. Buildings and rooms were in absolut great condition (the beach access outside the hotel area was a little tricky - a coordinating info of the reception during check-in could have helped). The garden area was very comfortable with great views over the ocean. “Our second stay here and we will be back. Beautiful location overlooking the marina and the coast. Staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is first class. Just a couple of issues worth raising that did not detract from a fabulous week. The lifts can be a little unreliable and were not all working properly on a couple of days; there were a couple of large male groups who were well behaved but it set a slightly different tone from our last visit which felt more family……
