I have stayed in some beautiful hotels in the world. The golden pinapple is up there with the best. The views from our sunset villa were incredible, the villa itself was amazing and had all the amenities we could have asked for. Just to confirm, you do need a 4x4 to access the property.

Wish they were better communication, along with the rest of the staff. The electricity shut out the power, which was blackout for most of my stay which was out of the control anyone. Then, I came during raining season which was pretty horrible with finding activity to do. Especially, where I stayed at it was more towards the country side than anything let’s say more relaxing and peaceful than anything. Overall, I enjoyed my stay made the most of it.

Cool concept. Their goal is to make it feel like you have the property to yourself (small number of villas, off the beaten path), and they achieved that goal (at least for our two night stay). Spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Howler monkeys live in their part of the forest, and howl in the morning and evening. Solid restaurant. Friendly personalities. Marlon (waiter at restaurant) was particularly personable, great conversationalist. Don't ignore their guidance that a 4x4 is needed to access the property, the road from Uvita to this property is quite steep and slippery.

Our stay was truly awesome. We stayed in the Sunset Villa...It was exceptional...Everything about the Villa was exactly as seen on the website. The greenery was so luscious. The views were Majestic. Very quaint and intimate location. Very romantic too. The pool was well maintained and cleaned everyday. Breakfast was delicious and the staff catered to our everyday need. The lunch and dinner menu was decent. Nothing special...but sufficient. There are gym facilities there..no treadmill..but you can manage to get some type of workout. Also, you have to take stairs everyday for breakfast or to get to the main office. They were very steep and no guard rails...They are definitely safety hazard. Other that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
