「Original old rooms but full of character. Comfortable bed, tea and coffee. Lovely river view with outside tables and chairs. Had dinner and breakfast which were very good. Ample parking」

「Used this hotel as my son and I were going to Download and its convenient location was ideal. Contact from the hotel was really good prior to the visit to confirm the names of guests and whether car parking was needed, taking the registration number of the vehicle. Reception staff were helpful as we got there a few hours before check in but they let us in as the room was ready. They confirmed that the booking was for room only and explained that we could book breakfast each day if we wanted to....

「Friendly and quick check in at 2am, very efficient. Room very comfortable, 2 extremely comfy double beds and bathroom was immaculately clean and well maintained」

「Rooms were good size. Bed was large and comfy. Pillows were comfy. Bathroom was a good size. All very clean. The floors in the room are laminate and could do with a good hoover and mop. Swimming pool was a good size. Sauna and steam rooms were working and usable. Gym was small but had everything needed. £15 parking for 24hr is a let down. If your a staying guest parking should be included. Towels are supplied for use at the pool and gym so you don't have to take them from the room.」

「The best hotel, among the six hotels, i had stayed in our recent trip to the UK. Not only does thw hotel has tidy and spacious family room, the toilet is clean and the breakfast is wonderful and the room rate is very attractive. The only drawback is that there is no lift for our room at upper floor. In sum, an excellent hotel which i am ready to patronize or recommend to ky friends. 」

「The Staff were amazing, very helpful and while check in we had a confusion as we needed a connected room while booking had booked due to the fact that it had connected rooms, when we arrived after a 4 hrs. drive noticed that the booking was not as per how i booked. however the lady and the housekeeping staff helped to get a room quickly. this is amazing service, the only -ve i would say is the parking fee.」

「Great stopover near M1 really decent food and drink good breakfast overall good experience only downside could hear upstairs flat when he came in and got up for early morning jog maybe blackout blinds for window and door glass other than that all good would definitely use again staff all very friendly and pleasant」

「The water was hot but the shower rail was coming off the wall. The room is tiny and very hot, this wasn't helped by the plastic covered pillows. It was an effort to get in as ghe door to the room stuck badly. There was an efficient but not a warm welcome and please read the small print as breakfast is only toast, cereal and pastries.」

「it’s okay. my room was now hoovered at all, dirty floor, checked bed for bed buds and it was safe to sleep. the heater was cold majority of night and only when i woke up after 7am i noticed it actually worked, didnt think it did. if the cleanliness of the place was better it would be a better review but staff is very helpful. cant go wrong for £40 per night.」

「Nice clean room, good shower and beds. It's such good value and basic which is all I needed as was at the BTCC at Donginton Park all day. Nice selection of beers in the bar and friendly staff. This is my second time using this hotel and will use again in the future.」
