Great property, less desirable booking experience

I booked this through VRBO and ended up with a full hour of a check-in disaster where the property and VRBO had some sort of miscommunication from what I gathered (couldn’t get a clear explanation of what exactly went wrong). My family and I did not end up in the room that was advertised and what I paid for through VRBO. It was 10:30pm after 3 hours of driving with two young kids and a dog, we moved into two rooms before finding one that contained the amount of bed space we needed.The property accommodated the situation well enough but cautioned on booking through VRBO again due to computer glitches. The property itself was great, just sounds like you should book directly through them.
