Very cute home. I cleaned the front entry way of all spider webs. Bedroom could use a queen bed, although the full is comfy. Overall will stay here again.

Return guest - love this place!

Had a lovely time and the communication with the property owner was great. This home is a great central location for biking, hiking and activities at Dorena Lake while also being close to town. This has become one of our annual must do's each year.

Stay at Dorena cottage

The cottage was very clean and well furnished. I brought food and prepared breakfasts and evening meals. The kitchen had everything I needed. This was a working vacation, so I did not enjoy the features of the area. I would consider staying there again, so maybe next time.

Dorena Hydro Work Stay

We were greated by the cleaning lady. She was very helpful with the area infirmation. The host were great at answering our questions. If we, or any of our crew are in the area we would be greatful to stay here.

Cute little house

Nice house and stay. Right by the road so traffic noise is a little loud. No access to river from back yard. No fireworks so that was great! No cell service but really fast internet and WiFi calling worked.

Our first VRBO experience maybe our last

My husband and I badly wanted to be at our granddaughter's graduation from U of Oregon in June. As soon as we discovered the dates we began searching for accommodations. We had to drive from Los Angeles County, CA to Oregon because we travel with our senior, blind, insulin-dependent diabetic dog and we are on a tight budget. The hotels were extraordinarily expensive and beyond our means. The listings for VRBO accomodations in Eugene were also out of our ballpark. We found this listing and it sounded perfect. It allowed pets, was just the right size, and the price was right. Being 32 miles from Eugene was not an impediment since we are used to driving long distances. What the listing did not state was that the property was on a long, dark, winding road with no cell service. The house itself had irregular internet service and no cell service. In addition, the bed was not meant to accommodate two adults. I wound up sleeping on the couch so that my husband, who has hypertension, diabetes, and insomnia could get some rest. We spent three very uncomfortable nights there. It was nice to have the kitchen where I could prepare breakfast daily, refrigerate our pup's insulin and special diet, and be able to make other light meals and snacks as needed. We never watched the TV because we couldn't figure it out. My husband and I are 75 years old and I have two artificial knees. Had we known the details of the listing, we would not have selected it.

Olympic Trials stay...

Great stay for Olympic Trials in Eugene - only a 1/2 hr drive and no hotel price gouging! It has a trail across the street where our son was able to do his practice runs.

Exactly what it says on the tin!

This is indeed a nice, quiet riverfront home. It's about 20 minutes from Cottage Grove, and the drive there is gorgeous. Great internet speed, so you shouldn't have any cellphone issues if you have wifi calling enabled on your phone. It has all the amenities that you'd need for a longer-term stay: full kitchen, full laundry, full bathroom. The Lee family are incredibly kind and personable,and I'd highly recommend this property to couples, small families, or anyone that just wants some peace and quiet.

Quite little spot

Cutest cottage on Row River

My sister and I stayed to celebrate her birthday. We had a fantastic stay. The cottage was perfect and so spotlessly clean. Great location for Wildwood Falls and Cottage Grove. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Quiet Riverfront Home ! 5 min. from Dorena Lake ! was awesome super clean, nice shower & tile, pull out sofa bed comfortable. Great location, easy parking. Drive east 15 mi to lovely light hiking in Cedar Creek Campground by Brice River. Scenic view from bridges on Sharp Road, Sharp Recreation Area. Host responds immediately to requests. Only bad news: we had to leave. LOL. Enjoy your stay.

Great place to stay

Very cute and quite house to stay in. Everything that we needed was provided. There isnt cell service but there is wifi provided when you stay. Highly recommend for small families, we would stay there again.

Wonderful peaceful stay

We had planned this house to be a middle ground to get to Crater lake. We ended up changing our plans and checking out the surrounding areas. So many wonderful hiking and biking areas right up our outdoorsy alley. Such beautiful forest areas and the lake was fun . The house was just right for our little family. Very clean and everything we needed in the kitchen. We have already started making plans to come back to see the trails we couldn't get to. Perfect vacation to get away from the city. Umpqua Forest is exceptionally beautiful.

This cute little cottage is on the river (no access at the home) and only a few minutes from Dorena lake. This was my 1st time in this area and it was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of hikes and waterfalls near by. Would definitely visit again

Perfect little cottage

I needed a getaway from busy family life and this cottage was just ideal. It was clean, had everything I needed, and was close to tons of outdoor recreation options. I'm planning on rebooking for next year!

Adorable Cottage on the River

This is a clean, adorable cottage with a great deck on the back with an incredible view of the Row River. It's just a 5 minute drive to Dorena Lake. The only reason I give it a 4 star is due to the lack of service. If you download all your info before arriving you will be fine. Or get the WiFi password before you arrive as there is absolutely no service. We had to drive back to Cottage Grove to make a phone call. They owners were very quick to answer all our questions and helped us immediately. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent here again. Especially because the owners are really great to work with.

Row River Dorena stay

There is an excellent impression of the property. Everything is so new and clean. It was rented for 2 family members to stay. All was good. I will mention that they were unable to use the couch. Maybe a matter of not being able to do it because of just not being able to figure it out. Another family member has the cabin rented for the first week in August. I hope it works out as well for them as the two that stayed this time.
