「Excellent place to Stay when visiting Fredericksburg, Tx! The Cabin is very cozy, private and beautiful! Surrounding area is great nature! Definitely should be checked out and worth the stay! 」

「We enjoyed our stay at the Grist Mill Cabin. Two things I would say. The steps are hard to navigate without a rail and the bathtub was hard to get in. We are both over 65 so in case you’re a senior citizen you might think about that. When we arrived on Monday around 6 PM we had to drive around the parking lot 3 times to find a parking place because Me. Gatti’s Pizza was busy.」

「Very secluded but within minutes of town. Hummingbirds were everywhere! We also enjoyed watching the deer, squirrel, a turkey, jack rabbits and regular rabbits. The cabin was cozy but did lack a few things we could have used. The bed was comfy and the hot tub was great for my aching joints.」

「Over all we enjoyed our stay. Knowing that the property is in the country, we did see a few dead bugs inside the cabin. Cabin was clean, including the bedding and towels. Kitchen wear was limited. Would of like a coffee pot instead of keurig.」

「WONDERFUL rustic cabin in a rural area of Texas Hill country. We stayed in the “German Chocolate” cabin for 4 nights during the solar eclipse and throughly enjoyed our stay. Easy 2 mile drive to Fredericksburg. Lovely baked goods waiting for us on our arrival, plus Sophie’s Bakery is right down the road where additional goodies are available! Would definitely stay here again!」

「We spent the Memorial Day weekend out in Fredericksburg. We absolutely loved the cabin and just how close it was to EVERYTHING we wanted to do. Will definitely book again.」

「Everything about the trip was very easy, from checking in, to settling in, communicating with the owner, and checking out. Annette, the owner, was very sweet and checked in on us when we first arrived, and she also was quick to answer the phone and bring us a lighter for the grill when we ran out of matches.
