Everone in the town was wonderful the staff here included. There are a couple of things that needed maintenance such as the bathroom door getting stuck with difficulty opening and closing. A tub recaulking and painting the tub would make a big difference. The breakfast was great and the waffles with topping options was yummy. Overall a nice stay.

The breakfast was decent, with a lot of variety (including grits). The staff was friendly and efficient. The lobby and outside landscaping looked great, but the room itself seemed a little dirty and the furnishings seemed worn and cheap. Might stay again, but definitely not committed.

The bathroom was terrible. When taking a shower water ran all over the floor due to the walk in shower. There was no difference in the bottom of the shower and the floor and the shower curtain was about a foot from the floor. I guess the fan in there didn't work because everything held moisture really bad. The room had a smell when you walked in. The door was hard to open and close.

The first morning breakfast was awful. No eggs, no potatoes, cold sausage. The following 2 days were OK. The pool was closed so couldn't be used. We were there 3 days. Not once were asked if we needed towels, trash dumped or anything. Room itself was clean, however, the bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in at one point and sloppily repaired. The overflow cover for the bathtub was sitting on the edge of the tub, instead of being attached. We had an electrical outlet issue, and the desk person came and looked at it. Said she would be back to cover the outlet on the nightstand, but never returned.

1) Rm#306-- the room itself was very clean and well done, except for the entry door,- door was sticking at the bottom, when opening, had to kick the bottom of door to get it open. 2) the pool was dirty, couldn't see the bottom of the pool.

Unfortunately, the pool was really gross. It was so dirty that we didn't feel safe entering--and I didn't see anyone else using it all weekend, but the gate was open, so I'm assuming it was still open for use. We also had other issues with cleanliness in the room--moldy bathroom, (likely due to the fact that the air vent/fan is broken,) crusty coffee pot, etc. I had promised my kids we could swim at the hotel, and had to break my promise. The staff were kind and welcoming but clearly under-supplied.

The property was mostly clean but was a bit run down. We stayed in room 326 and the shower doors were rusty, the shower itself wasn’t easy to use the cold and hot.. not as good as most of the Hampyon Inn hotels we’ve stayed in. We often stay on Hampton because they are constantly good. This one was average.
