Skiing with aurora

It was my second time in this hotel. Perfect value for the money, cozy guest house, friendly staff and excellent place for cross-country skiing. This time the Northern Lights came as an extra bonus.

Room was old and musty

The room was very old, and the water from the shower leaked to the built in carpet. The room seemed a bit musty. Also the tap was broken. Apparently some rooms are renovated and our was not. Other than that, the hotel seemed comfortable and the service was great!

This is a fabulous little gem of a place in the mountains of Norway. Rooms are clean and tidy. Common areas have fun touches like folk tale art on chair backs and other hand curated items. The hotel restaurant offers up wonderful food - including desserts made with local mountain berries and (if you are a meat eater) options like a reindeer burger with creamy cheese, both balancing flavors with the expert touch you might not expect from a hotel kitchen. Truly - if you stay at the Trolltun Hotel, plan to have dinner there. Your taste buds will thank you.

Helt ok overnatting for en natt, men ikke spesielt god komfort pÄ seng eller rom. Frokosten var utrolig dÄrlig sammenlignet med hotellfrokost generelt. Smakte gammelt av muslien. Lite og billig utvalg. Eneste positive i frokosten var ferskt brÞd.

Eventyrlig overnatting!

Kom sent til hotellet. God plass, fint innredet og praktisk rom. Stort og fint bad og gode senger! Virket nytt og nylig oppusset eller veldig godt vedlikeholdt. Frokosten kunne vÊrt oppgradert noe, der synes jeg det i hvert fall bÞr vÊre egg og bacon, men kanskje jeg som er litt kravstor!? Alt i alt fÄr de 5 av 5 allikevel, for det var godt med frukt, de var veldig serviceinnstilte og rommet hadde ogsÄ utgang rett til bilen, som var utrolig praktisk nÄr man skulle avgÄrde tidlig om morgenen for Ä kjÞre neste etappe! :)
