Enjoyed dinner & breakfast at the restaurant that belongs to hotel. Good quality meals. Extraordinarily polite & friendly staff!
The only drawback : this tiny village is far away from any other places.

Hyggeligt hotel i landlige omgivelser
Nice place to stay after a day at Gorges du Verdon

Disliked: Staff & service
étapes a éviter , pourtant charmant village .
If you really want to tick the box to say that you've stayed in the oldest hotel - then ok - force yourself to stay here.
However, be warned that somewhere between 1737 and today "friendliness and welcome" escaped this place.
These folks are cold and as friendly as a bear with tooth ache. The night before we saw what had been left from that day's breakfast. The next morning it was served - as it had been left the previous day. For 75 - 100 euros....are you sure that really want to stay here ?
The rooms are clean - the parking is good - but for the rest.....don't bother.
Literie u peu dure. Propreté impeccable. Petite balade autour du village.
Personnel très sympathique. Restaurant de bonne qualité, plats locaux... A ne pas manquer ! Tout est bon ! A refaire.
The hotel is in a little village a half hour away from hiking departures into the canyon and one hour from the lake. There is also the medieval village of Trigance to visit nearby. This little hotel with its restaurant is convenient but the rooms could use some upgrading. There's not A/C but the rooms were cool even in August. Overall the restaurant is good but the service was slow. They were nice to keep our ice packs in the freezer so it was ready for the next day. We appreciate it with this hot weather!
