Awesome little spot in a peaceful remote location. Pretty horses to watch as well! The space itself is the perfect blend of modern with cozy cabin vibes.
The property was clean and had everything we needed for a few days away from home. We enjoyed the drive up and down the main road. It wasn’t too far from Estes which is where we spent our days visiting the national park. I love that it was pet friendly, our frenchie made herself right at home on the pet bed (even though we brought her own). We will definitely stay again.

This was a wonderful spot to stay for my hiking vacation in Rocky Mountain National Park. It was my first time back to the park after the death of my husband, and the quiet beauty of this property gave me plenty of space for quiet and solitude. Thanks for sharing your space!
Not only were the instructions to get there super important and given in advance because you do lose signal, but everything was lit up so well when arriving it felt like a breath of fresh air stepping out and having a place that screamed "here you are"!!!! Cozy, quaint, peaceful little "studio" mad my wife and I go, "this is what we need"! Loved it and loved the people who own it and didn't even have to meet in person. Bless Jehovah for people like this that can open their home to share dreams!
We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful retreat in Drake, Colorado near Estes Park. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, peaceful, and thoughtfully done. The privacy was perfect, the setting was quiet and serene, and the mountain views were absolutely gorgeous. You can truly tell that a lot of care went into creating this place — it was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy nature. Waking up to the scenery and the calm mountain atmosphere was something special.Thank you so much for providing such a lovely space and for helping make our stay memorable. We truly appreciated it and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.Thank youRhonda
Stayed at the Cozy Mountain Getaway while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. Room was just as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Host provided excellent directions pre arrival. If there were folks living upstairs we never saw or heard them. The drive from Estes was worth it to get away from the crowds in town and enjoy some peace and quiet. Even made a day trip to Frontier Days in Cheyenne while staying there. Would stay again.
Great propery. Made an excellent effort to make a basement appt not feel like a basement. Very good wifi, able to stream our Amazon Prime shows without buffering. Very good water pressure. Memory foam bed comfortable. Ceiling fan worked great for cooling us down at night. Able to enjoy night sky and daytime views in privacy. 2 miles of steep winding road to get there. Could be tough in winter. Well stocked Kurig and a 4 cup mister coffee with plenty of filters. Pretty remote (which is what we wanted). Drive up the canyon was beautiful and the drive into Estes Park also beautiful. About 30 minute drive into Estes Park. Recommend going through GlenHaven to get homemade cinnamon rolls on way to Estes at general store.

Quite the Drive
Property is nice, it's the bottom of the main house with separate entrance that owner lives in. Used Waze app took us past house a couple of blocks away so had to back track. You also drive 1 mile from main road up narrow winding road don't drive at night. The tub/shower has a large step into, they have step stool but still steep. We didn't use Hot Tub since it was upstairs, there's a Fire Ban so didn't use Fireplace also upstairs with main house.
This was an ideal base for exploring Rocky Mountain national park. We woke up every morning to beautiful views and came back to our perfectly furnished studio with everything we needed. Between the mini fridge, microwave and hot plate we were able to eat many of our meals right there sitting on the patio furniture enjoying the view. Although the location is remote it is not too far from dinner at the inn on glen haven or cinnamon rolls or ice cream from the glen haven general store. The owner left us eggs, bagels and cream cheese and coffee to start the day. We hope to return!
Jess's home is beautiful. It's close enough to rocky mountain national park, but far enough from the hustle and bustle of Estes park. She got us bagels and had coffee pods for our stay. Amazing hospitality. Will definitely come back again.
Jessica sent directions and check in instructions that were exact. There was no guessing where to go or how to get in.
Once there the suite was clean, cool (no AC but none needed), kitchenette fully prepared - plates, cups, eating utensils, paper towels, toaster, Kurig and microwave, bathroom with soap and shampoo and guides for activities on the table in case you needed a little help with planning. Jessica checked in with us to ensure we did not need anything but did so by messages not in person visits to be respectful of our privacy.
There was amazing views everywhere you look. We woke up to the sound of a neighbors rooster and a goat while enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the sun come up over the mountain. We would stay here again as our honeymoon was perfect and this little slice of mountain perfection was amazing!
We had the pleasure of staying at this little suite out in Drake and had an amazing time! The property was nice and cozy and so so CLEAN! Everything in this suite was carefully thought out from the cookware for the kitchenette to the owners leaving us some bagels, coffee and tea during our stay! This is the perfect place for a little getaway and close to great fishing on Big Thompson, Estes Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park. The directions to the property given to us were extremely easy to follow and clear.
