"Beautiful building and stayed in the top floor of the turret and it was amazing!! One note, there is a flight of stairs you have to take to get to the suite."

We highly recommend staying at this clean, comfortable, and historic home. "We just got back from a weekend at this lake house on Lake Blackshear, and it was so amazing. The house was super clean and just felt really comfortable the whole time. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the view of the lake/canal was so pretty, especially in the mornings. We spent most of our time outside just hanging out and being on the water. The area was really peaceful too, which I loved. It wasn’t loud or crowded at all. It was so easy, and we loved the place because everything was set up so well for us. We didn’t have any issues at all. I would 100% stay here again and definitely recommend it if you just want a chill weekend away."

"We had to get a 2nd room because the 1st room smelled like an ashtray. The rooms were "surface clean" meaning no one has done anything other than run a quick broom and mop over the room. There was hair and dirt in the bathroom corners and it just had an overall dirty feel. Like the remote and telephone hadn't been whipped down in who knows how long. My daughter showered in flip flops and wouldn't walk barefoot on the floors."

"I would never stay here again it was hidden trash in certain areas of the room,the bathroom looked very horrible,when I took a shower the water wasn’t going down the drain but was filling up the tub that was so disgusting,the bed made me itch so bad I couldn’t even stay there so disappointed and disgusted "

"Great property! The communication with the owner was fantastic he was very responsive. Location is close to downtown. Very clean.we loved that it is a restored historic home and will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in town to visit family if it’s available! We liked it more than the Windsor! "
