“Unfortunately, I was only able to stay at this hotel for two hours, because the hotel lost WiFI connectivity and could not provide any estimate on the repair.
I had to work six hours that evening and sadly could not without the WiFi, so I had to check out and depart for home (1 1/2 hrs away) as soon as possible.
I contacted Expedia today with the full expectation of a refund for the room and was disappointed to learn the hotel would not provide a refund. I will never book a stay at this……

“The coffee and tea all day access was wonderful. Hotel staff friendly and informative. Best to visit Thursday-Sunday as much of the town is not open Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. The restaurant had great staff but unfortunately was out of a lot of things on the menu. Waited very long just for a salad.”

“The Rest Hotel in downtown Plymouth is a gem of a find! Quaint, cute, perfect location, perfect amenities, and the rooms were much better than "normal" hotels. However, the best part of our visit was the staff. They are caring, responsive, polite, and fun! My wife will only stay at the Rest Hotel when we return to Amador County Wine Country!”

“Unfortunately our room (which was very nice) was next to the laundry room. At least two times around 1:00 am and 2:00 am, someone was slamming doors which woke my husband and myself up from a restful sleep. We also were hearing loud noises, and were not sure if it was the washing machine, or the elevators.
Maybe suggest a sign for the laundry room for washing times from 7 am-10 pm.
Next time we will ask not to get a room next to the laundry room and elevators.”
