We would def stay here again. I do suggest that if you go in the wetter or colder month to have a 4x4 vehicle as the roads are not the best and the location of the house has a few steep slopes. "The house is huge, there were 16 of us and it was plenty big for everyone to have their own space. The staff was so kind. Although they spoke very little English, they were really helpful, and Joseph (property owner) was available and checked in by phone frequently. The pool and the balconies are incredible, and we spent hours looking out at the view and playing games poolside. This is really a friendly environment, with the staff and the owner taking a real interest in making your experience...

"We staid 10 days in the finca Mi Amor in October 2017. We , 5 adults, enjoyed the atmosphere of this amazing place and the perfect care of Ara, Moreno and Papito. "The villa was just like in the pictures. The communication process throughout the stay and registration with the owner assistant Franceska was great. The villa Host Samuel and his wife Marie were amazing, attentive to what we needed, and welcoming. Everything about our stay was great no complains, although coming up to the villa was a bit of a journey but worth it."

"We enjoyed stepping into the jungle for a few days on our trip. The breakfast was excellent but we did not read the fine print that it is only on the first day. Dominic was kind enough to send us with some bananas on our drive. It was really fun and still close to everything if you have a car. "

"- The listing needs to be updated. There was two different prices for electricity posted and a third price was given in a message from the host.- We arrived shortly after the posted check-in time and the cleaners were still there and the gardener was making a mess in the yard.Communication with the host was off putting. He wanted us to meet him at a bank and I assume follow him to the property. It wasn't our first time to the area, so we knew our way around and knew where the property was...

"I wanted to leave a genuine review. I initially was a bit skeptical prior to my booking however, my experience in this hotel was exceptional. For the price that it cost you absolutely get every pennies worth. Hotel rooms are modern and spacious. We had ocean view so we got to see the sun being through our room. There is plenty of dining options around and nightlife. I was quite surprised at so many tourist were walking the streets careless having a great time later at night. In my opinion that speaks volume of how safe the surrounding area is. The staff is very accommodating. I arrived a bit sooner and they did provide me with an early check-in. Also, I would recommend to asking in front desk for any activities that the hotel offers. I did that, and for a great price, my partner, and I enjoyed ATVs, horseback riding, a tour to some beaches, and the famous Limon waterfall, with lunch included. My partner and I are definitely going to be returning to the spot. It is now going to be my go to hotel when we arrive to Samana. "
