"On arrival, we were put into the wrong apartment for the first night. We then changed to the apartment that had been advertised. It wasn’t as clean as we are used to especially in Dubai; the floor and sofa was stained and the glass on the balcony was filthy. "Die Wohnung, die Aussicht und dass es einen privaten Strand hat fanden wir sehr gut. Jedoch gab es für ein Gebäude, dass 45 Stockwerke besitzt nur 12 Sonnenliegen am Strand, was nicht nachvollziehbar war. Es gab jegliche Diskussionen von anderen Besuchern mit dem Strandpersonal, dass dafür null verantwortlich war. Des Weiteren war in der Wohnung nur der Staubsauger zu beanstanden, weshalb wir die Wohnung in den 2W nicht saugen konnten. "

"The first two bedroom we were assigned had a bunch of issues. A stranger's mass of hair stuck on the washroom stall, a shower stall that flooded halfway thru a shower, airconditioning not working in the rooms. At every point, the staff tried to BS us saying things like "it takes time for air conditioning to work in Dubai" even though one area was clearly cooler and the other was very hot. "Our stay at Dukes The Palm was truly wonderful. We are a family of 5, and our vacation ended up being extended due to the war and flight disruptions. Despite the unexpected situation, the hotel—and the country—deserve 1000 stars for how they made us feel during this time. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive. The level of hospitality we experienced was beyond anything we expected. A very special thank you to Asif, the Rooms Manager, and Alejandra, the Public Relations Manager. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable, and their kindness meant so much to our family. While we have been looking for flights to return home, the truth is we almost don’t want to leave. It is the first time we have ever felt this way about a place. Thank you to the entire team at Dukes The Palm for turning a stressful situation into such a positive and unforgettable experience."
