This property is absolutely gorgeous, it’s in a central location, and the rooms are very comfortable.
Pros - the food and drinks onsite are top tier; valet parking is available (limited hours, see below)
Things to be aware of - there is a massive construction effort underway behind the building and loud work is happening 24/7; the hotel is right next to a shelter/soup kitchen so there are dozens of unhoused people around the front of the hotel at any given time
I’ll add that a man at the front desk was quite rude when I asked for the valet to bring our car round at a time that I did not know was outside of valet service’s working hours (6:30 am). He was demonstrably aggravated that he would have to find someone to escort me to the car park, but there weren’t any other options as the hotel had the car keys, cannot allow guests in the car park alone, and didn’t previously share that they had a gap in work hours. It underscored our whole experience at this hotel in a negative way.
