Although it’s usually student accommodation, they absolutely make it feel like a proper hotel experience during stays. The whole place was spotless, modern, and really well maintained. The room was spacious, very clean, and had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate, and the overall standard was much higher than expected for the price. You can tell……

“A little bit showing it’s age and therefor shabby. Bits of wood falling off in the kitchen, sofa springs at the end of their life, fuse box buzzing annoyingly, water pressure low. But then there were things that were just poor. Poor design, thoughtless. Like TVs that are rediculously high on the wall, mirrors that are too low, shower doors so big so that its a pain to get in and out of the bath, blackout curtains that don’t actually blackout because they have been mounted poorly and let in……

“I have never had an issue communicating with a property using Hotels.Com but that was the case with Griffith Hall. The person who registered us said that it was a common issue for them. In the end, things worked out but it could be a problematic issue. The residence is just that a college residence. Don't expect a regular hotel experience. And be prepared to use public transit to get anywhere or walk a lot. It is not in a central location.”

“There should be a door to the toilet/ shower not a shower curtain . The water is slow to go down drain from shower so you have to go toilet with water on the floor .you should be able to open the door nearer to the kitchen as there is no extrator fan when cooking this is a health and safety issue ”
