Fantastic!

We highly recommend this centrally located, clean & charming comfortable home! Our host, Ivica, was always quick to reply with questions before we arrived, helped arrange a driver from the airport, met us at the gate of the old city and walked us to the door of our rental to show us around and make recommendations for where to begin our visit to Dubrovnik. It is truly a step back in time to enter into the old town and walk the ancient streets but how great it is to also stay in such a location. Ivica's home had everything we needed. The outdoor patio is a treasure and an enjoyable place to gather for a glass of wine or a meal.

Charming, Comfortable and Great Location

First off, the location was great. It is located within the city walls of Old Town. It was probably about 100 feet to a plethora of restaurants and another 100 feet from even more. Granted, there were a ton of steps to go down to get to these establishments (or a ton to walk up afterward) but there is no way to get around that in Old Town. It was hot, very hot while we were there. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, a kitchen and small living room. The first floor was kept extremely cool with air conditioning. There were two more bedrooms on second floor plus an additional room that could accommodate more beds. There was a second floor AC unit, but not AC units in the bedrooms themselves. However, the AC unit combined with fans that were provided, kept everyone comfortable up there. The house had a lot of charm, with stone wall interiors as well. We did not use the kitchen, but we definitely used the washer and dryer which was very helpful. There was an exterior porch that was pretty and provided shade to relax when the day was not at its hottest. This place met all expectations.

Great location and comfortable stay

We had seven adults staying and were very comfortable. The location is amazing being within the Old City walls and steps away from stores, restaurants and harbor (if you're staying in Old City it may require you to take steps). Despite being in close proximity to the fun, it was nice and quiet at night. We loved being able to relax on the beautiful patio after a full day of sightseeing. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Stay

Stayed at this house with 12 people, and we had an amazing stay. House interior very clean, sleeping situation was good for big group. Bathrooms very clean, kitchen very big. Washer/dryer very helpful. Outdoor patio garden area the best of all! Ivica is also a wonderful host, very communicative.

Dubrovnik Old Town

Dubrovnik Old House

We had a very pleasant stay at Dubrovnik Old House. Communication with Ivica, our host, was smooth. He arranged for airport pick up and for the housekeeper to meet us at the gate to the Old City to guide us to the property. The Old City has lots of steps but these were not an issue for our group. Highly recommend this property if you want to be centrally located.

Great place for group to stay in Dubrovnik

Seven of us stayed. Wonderful location within walls of Old Town. 3 minute walk to Pile Gate. Outside space was particularly nice for us. Inside was clean and nicely equipped. Would definitely return.

Perfect for a large group

We had a group of eight staying at the house. There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace in the early mornings, reading and drinking coffee. The location was perfect for exploring all that Dubrovnik has to offer. We especially enjoyed walking on the wall and swimming near the marina.

Beautiful home in the center of Old Town

The home was comfortable for a large group and as described. 111 steps up / down to Stradum which could be tough on some people but this home is in the heart of Dubrovnik Old Town so it’s to be expected. We really enjoyed our time here. Ivica arranged for airport transfers which was very helpful as well.

Location, Location, Location

The villa within the old town walls is a fantastic oasis. The outdoor space is very unexpected and rare given the location. Beds were cozy. Sofa in the living room is a daybed, could use some pillows. The AC downstairs was exceptional. The AC upstairs was less so, the added fans were appreciated. (We visited when it was very hot). Great communication with the owner, Very timely and thorough. Got to know the neighborhood cats who made the patio their home. Lots of stairs, but super quaint and quiet away from the noise but literally steps from the action.

To the best host, Ivica

From the day that I booked the house, Ivica came across as warm, kind and accommodating. He went above and beyond in assisting my requests from restaurant reservations, day trips to Montenegro and Bosnia, local tours etc. I bother him throughout the process with multiple changes but he always responded immediately, patiently and professionally. This was a trip for my friend's 50th birthday and Ivica even ordered a cake to be delivered. With his guidance, my group had a wonderful time and we are talking of returning, thanks to Ivica. Great location and outside space!

Had a great time staying here in Dubrovnik. Owner was very helpful with arranging transportation and making dinner recommendations/reservations. Outdoor patio is rare and a very nice feature to have in the hustle and bustle of old town. Excellent location as well! Four stars given a few things like the upstairs bathroom that had an impossibly small/hard to open shower. Also only one A/C for all of upstairs. The bathroom and one bedroom were very hot. Could also use a refresh on some of the towels and other touches around the house given the price.

Charming property

A lovely home in an excellent location. Owner is extremely helpful! Even arranged for a car and driver to pick us up at the airport. And when I requested that the terrace be cleaned, he sent a gardener straight over. Property was clean, but a few of the details could be a bit better maintained. The "sofa" needed some sort of pillows to make it usable. It was just a mattress on a bed frame and was very uncomfortable. The black blankets need to be replaced. Providing a few more pillows/towels would have worked wonders. The duvet/comforters were a bit stained and needed a good bleaching. But all in all this was a lovely little location in the heart of the old city. Alot of stairs! But that is the norm in this town. We really enjoyed our time in Dubrovnik. FYI - The wine bar at the end of the street is excellent. There is a very personable waitress there that gave excellent advice on Croatian wines. The best advice in any of the 5 towns we visited.

Amazing location plenty of room,clean charming house.

We stayed here as it was within the city walls and big enough for us all for our friends surprise 40th birthday . We all agreed it was a perfect location with good facilities to hand and Ivica is a great host who was very quick to help and respond to any questions asked. Everything is walking distance full of charming narrow streets filled with every cuisine and pubs and wine bars. Cable car to the top is a must with the chance to visit the museum before the decent back down. Walking the city walls is stunning and gives an amazing view of the city. We then went down to the beach which is a stones throw away to relax before yet another beautiful meal out. I for one will visit again and strongly recommend this property.
