“The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved the sliders to the deck. We had a wonderful view of the lake and we could see all the birds easily from the kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that either a sliding screen door is added or a screen that fits in the door frame. That way, you can keep the door open without letting bugs in. The property is located in a truly picturesque part of Dubuque—quiet, charming, and perfect for relaxing while still being close to everything we wanted to explore. “Cons: Wet sheets in the washer. Dishes in the dishwasher. Only 2 towels in the bathroom, when we booked for 4 people. WiFi not strong enough to watch a show, buffered every 3 min. Moldy air conditioning unit in the window in March: Letting in barking dog noise and cool air on a cold day. Very squeaky bed/uneven mattress. Had to check out early due to blizzard / 6-8 inches of snow coming, no option for even a partial refund. Maintenance needed on bath towel rack.Pros: parking spot, location in……
