“We stayed 6 Nights and found a cottage with very modern furniture, all you Need in the kitchen, own BBQ Grill Outside including Picnic Area. Allthough Its in the countryside, with a lot of nature around (trees, River, sheep, Cattle, birds and Flowers- you have a stabile wifi Connection. So What ever you seek- you are able to totally relax and disconnect or connect via the net. The Host family is Nice and live also on the ground in case you Need anything. Galloway Forest Park is nearby with walks……

“Helensdale is a fantastic place to stay. The views from the living room are incredible, I always take binoculars with me wherever I go as I enjoy bird watching (there are some binoculars in the property) and looking out on the bay was fantastic. I saw an array of birds and even managed to see 2 seals and a porpoise. Also on a clear day you can see the coastline of Northern Ireland. The property is very comfortable and clean and is quite deceptive space wise. Big kitchen with sun room and big……

“The house was perfect for our family of 7, with four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All rooms were a good size with a large kitchen dinner. The bonus for us with two teenage grandchildren was the pool table and table tennis. Would go back anytime.”

“Wir sind jedes Jahr in mindestens drei verschiedenen Ferienunterkünften und dieses Haus ist eines der besten bisher. Es ist absolut ruhig hier, man ist völlig allein und doch kann man innerhalb eines 30-Minuten-Radius wochenlang jeden Tag etwas Anderes machen, erst recht wenn man diesen Radius auf 60 Minuten erweitert.Das Haus ist sehr sauber, großzügig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man nur brauchen könnte. “A comfy, roomy house on the beach (well very nearly). Fitted our needs and more. Gave us everything for a relaxing, much needed getaway.”

“Absolutely a beautiful place to stay with a large group. This enormous facility comes with huge bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. It is so nice to sleep in rooms that feel sound proof. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful, especially at the end of our long trip through Europe.”

“Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children.”

“We loved this house was close to where we needed. The only thing disappointing was we had to rush to be out by 10 with there being a few of us as well. We did text to see if the house was being taken the next night to see if we could add another night but got no reply and was showing available online but didn’t want to do it online again as we would of had two cleaning charges. Apart from that it was ideal for us and would use again”
