You are just a few minutes’ walk from the picturesque harbour and shoreline. Families love the excellent children’s playpark at nearby Castle Green and there are lots of local cycle paths too.Down near the seashore, the striking Broughty Castle is well worth a visit. Dating back to 1490 when it was built to protect the Tay estuary, it now houses a museum which explains the history of this pretty fishing village.The famous golf courses at Carnoustie and St Andrews are close by and there are other excellent courses locally for avid golfers to test their links game. The beautiful sandy beach nearby provides a haven for wildlife. Broughty Ferry train station is just minutes away.
