“Lovely out of the way spot with a wonderful breakfast”

“Very warm and inviting hotel. Check in was very smooth. Outside the hotel has a cute little island with a bridge to walk around. The room were a good size and clean they left cute little rubber ducks on the bed. The bathroom was OK decent water pressure. No place to put your toiletries and not enough hooks to hang towels Unfortunately there was a wedding going on and I finally went to the front desk at 1:30am to complain. The music was blasting no one could sleep. All they said was we are……

“A charming and old hotel on beautiful grounds and walkable to Glendalough Cathedral. Hotel needs serious updates and maintenance. Broken coffee machines, fire extinguishers hanging on by a thread to the wall. Staff (other than a bartender) were not impressive and food was meh. Staff is worked hard.”

“Das Zimmer war generell sauber, allerdings mangelt es an Kleinigkeiten die aber durchaus nicht unwichtig sind. Nachttischlampen und die Fernbedienung vom Ferseher fehlten komplett. Außerdem war der Schlauch der Duschbrause undicht. Das sollte nicht nur uns als Gästen sondern auch dem Personal beim saubermachen auffallen. ”

“The spa was marvelous. My husband and I spent nearly 2 hours moving from steam room, to pool, to sauna, to pool, to hot tub, to heated lounge chairs. Complementary robes and non-slip shoes. Absolutely peaceful and relaxing. Just what we both needed after a fast-paced week exploring Ireland. We also dined at their on-site Italian restaurant La Taverna Armento. A cozy, warm atmosphere with delicious pasta. I had the spaghetti armento and my husband had the pork ragu. Generous portions and……
