We had a wonderful stay at Tingum Village. The staff was kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The tropical gardens made the property feel peaceful and relaxing, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to both Pink Sand Beach and the harbor. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for an authentic and charming place to stay in Harbour Island, I highly recommend Tingum Village. Juanita “Baby Ruby” and her staff at Tingum Village were extremely helpful and kind during our stay. They are very attentive to their guests and are genuinely concerned with making sure you are taken care of. We had dinner one night at Ma Ruby’s and it was good. Our room was nice and had a balcony. The water pressure is very weak but I think that’s everywhere in the Bahamas. The big jacuzzi in our room unfortunately did not work. For the price, this is a good budget friendly option on Harbour Island.

We had a wonderful stay at Tingum Village Hotel. The room was not an upscale resort but a down home comfortable room. We would walk to the beach, walk on the beach and anywhere in town we needed to go. Golf carts are available to rent on site if needed. Trevae and Christine at the front were welcoming and efficient. We can't compliment chef Mike enough with his straight forward Bahamian food. Fresh lobster whole or salad, grouper dishes and the conch fritters and cracked conch were superb. We didn't feel a need to try another resturant. Thanks to Tingum Village for a great experience. The Sanborn's

Staff was very friendly. Beautiful property with a nice setting. Food was excellent at dinner. Sheets were dirty and didn’t look to be changed. People were sleeping under the room with lattice work covering their area which wasn’t the safest feeling. Shower had zero water pressure and had to take a sponge bath.

Such a wonderful staff who are welcoming, efficient, and so very helpful! The website is a bit misleading: it is NOT a 2 minute walk to the beach....more like a 5-10 minute golf cart ride, coffee and breakfast are not available until 8am. The rooms are very dark, with little light, definitely need a refurbishing, and we could hear the couple in the next room talking. The bed IS comfortable, and the price is right if you don't mind the other issues.

The bar/.food area was great! Very clean great front staff. However the room was terrible, nothing fit, ie windows,doors, blinds nothing. The shower was terrible, no water pressure and it took close to 15 minutes just to reach luke warm. Bugs in room, sheets were stained and the bed belongs in a prison, just awful. Then comes the best part, not sure if the property owner know or not, but literally there was a large homeless family living under my room. Needless to say I didn't sleep a wink, and couldn't wait till it was our time to leave. Cheap prices compared to the rest, now I know why. Beware.

Tingum has the Bahamian charm we were looking for. The Staff is overly accommodating, allowing you to relax fully. We really enjoyed the ease of the continental breakfast. Which consisted of fruit, choice of bagel, coffee & juice. Other options are available for purchase. We had the grilled lobster twice which was one of our favorite meals. Baby Ruby will take care of you like family. Great value for the rate. We will be back.
