「Had many issues with the room. The fan in bathroom was noisy. The plug for the hair dryer didn't work. The covers were dirty. The fire alarm went off multiple times during the night.」

「What an adorable country cottage. We came up for just 1 night for a family function and felt right at home. We are a family of four with 2 adult children but you could easily have 2 more children and a baby here. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with cozy nooks and nice front porch. Very clean and beds are comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen including full spice rack. We will definitely be back.」

「Cozy, small, quiet home.」

「The house was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated, roomy and had a huge fenced in yard. It was also adequately private surroundings. I was pleasantly surprised. Our host made us feel very welcome and appreciated.」

「Property is exactly as described. We had a great week fishing and crabbing on the dock and even on the 2 days it rained, the house was so comfortable for chilling and watching movies. This house was well stocked with everything you would need. We forgot our Old Bay for the crabs but there was some already for us! 「We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. The view is beautiful and the house is beautifully decorated and kid friendly. Just a really charming place to stay for a family vacation.」

「My family and I had a great time at this property fishing and crabbing. We also did a day trip to Westmoreland State Park, where we got to hike to Fossils Beach.」

「The farmhouse was comfortable and charming. We enjoyed being able to come back after a day out and relax like it was home, while enjoying the quiet of the country. It is also positioned for easy drives to Richmond or the beach. I highly recommend and would stay here again.」

「Beautiful home, very clean and comfy 」

「We are a Family of 4 that stayed and absolutely loved Rosehill Cottage! Set back in a serene setting with the most beautiful view of the Rappahannock River! The Cottage was adorable with plenty of space to spread out, was clean, & had all of the cooking ware you need. The pool was a blast! We really enjoyed our time at the pool! I would definitely give Rosehill Cottage a consideration when you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life!」

「Fast easy check in. Gorgeous place. House was very clean. Beds were comfy. Pool was clean and water was warm. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a long day. We had no phone service there but the WiFi worked great. We had our kids with us and they loved it too. We will stay here again next time we are in the area. Highly recommend.」
