Magnificent

My family and I had so much fun! The house was even nicer than the pictures and fully stocked. We enjoyed swimming, kayaks and paddle boards, fishing and crabbing off the dock and caught so many fish over just a few days. The yard, fire pits and other activities gave everyone plenty to do and we can’t wait for our next trip!

Great quick getaway with the fur babies

This was the perfect location to get away from it all-literally! The dogs had a great time! House was awesome! We hiked at a state park, chilled out on the dock, visited Colonial Beach and met the locals in Montross. Drove to Warsaw and bummed Relish was closed but hit a great farmers market. We will be back!

We enjoyed the seclusion of this home on the water. The house had plenty of space and everything we needed to enjoy a few days away from the everyday busy. We enjoyed the firepit outdoors and gas fireplace indoors. We played games and did lots of fishing. The kitchen had what we needed for our meals. We would definitely want to come back and stay again!

Great Family Thanksgiving!

Our family of 5 and 1 dog met here to spend Thanksgiving together and had a fabulous time! The house and property are absolutely beautiful! Very private and secluded with gorgeous views of the water. The weather was cool but sunny and we really enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pit as well as the beautiful indoor gas fireplace. One of the highlights was a visit one morning from a bald eagle! We hope to someday rent again in the warmer weather to take full advantage of the water activities.

Water front beauty!

Great location for a girls’ weekend! This home is located in a pretty remote location on an actuary to the Potomac River. Once there you are greeted with a beautiful view of the water and a well maintained home. The inside is modern, clean and equipped with the essential (with exception to paper towels). It’s tucked away in very wooded location amongst trees and trails. It’s very peaceful. The host were very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

Weekend Escape

The house, outside seating and dock were fabulous. Great place to spend time with family and friends. Nice bonus that we could bring the dogs, but be vigilant about tick protection for dogs and people alike. The house was well stocked, beds were comfortable and plenty of water activity accessories.

Luxury at the river!

What an amazingly beautiful space! The house is located on a private lot overlooking the creek. The house was clean, modern and stocked with everything you could need. The bedrooms were spacious and so comfortable. The kitchen is a dream to cook in. We loved using the gas fire pit in the evening while we watched eagles and osprey fly overhead. Book this place if you are lucky enough to find an open date!

Spooky lake house In the woods

The inside of the home is very nice. However, the drive is treacherous. Avoid going if it’s raining unless you a 4-wheel drive. Do not drive your sports car. To get to the house you have to drive past a farm and through the woods. Trees need to be cut back to avoid scratching the car. The exterior of the house needs some attention (debris in the yard/grass needs to be cut, etc). Also to get to the lake you have to walk down a steep hill. In addition, the contact number did not work. All communication is through email.
