Fantastic Family Ski Trip
We enjoyed the accommodations of this condo at Purgatory. It was very conveniently located to all the amenities available at the resort. The condo was clean and exactly as described.

Great for ski on/out
Very spacious property for two bedrooms and very convenient to the slopes. The on property parking was very helpful but note that the unit offers a single spot in the garage. Additional outside parking is close by. Only complaint about the accommodations is that it was pretty dark (darker than in the pictures) even with all the lights on. I would stay here again.

Great location
Truly ski in ski out. We loved staying in the purgatory Lodge where we could walk steps to the main lift. We enjoyed the ease of the ski locker. The condo had everything you would need, including a washing machine and dryer (bring detergent!). The one negative was the bad WiFi and no smart tvs. Our Verizon cell service didn’t work well and the lodge’s WiFi was hit and miss (mostly miss) which was disappointing but didn’t take away from our enjoyable ski trip! Would stay here again.

Durango to Moab bike ride
Our group did the Durango to Moab Hut to Hut bike ride. This location was perfect as the resort is right at the start of the route. The accommodations were perfect. The only complaint was the sofa sleeper was not comfortable and we had to get a blanket from the front desk for the sofa bed. We loved the kitchen. Thank you.

Spacious 2 Bedroom
We stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding at Dantes. This rental is big for a two bedroom. Both bedrooms are very spacious and the bathrooms have lots of room. We cooked several meals in the more than adequate kitchen and ate meals at the dining table. There is a nice living area with TV and a balcony to lounge on and get some fresh air. There is some noise from what I think is the kitchen on the 1st floor, but nothing too terrible. I would recommend this rental for couples or even a small family. We had 4 adults and 2 children. The kids slept on the pullout couch and the adults slept well in the master king bedroom and the queen second bedroom.

Owner’s property was great. Club access was difficult.
Location of course is the best. It was clean, spacious, and well stocked with cooking supplies. Beds and pillows were nice, everything worked great. It would be nice to have any kind of access to Netflix or a smart TV, or mention this in the listing. Maybe I missed where this was listed since I assumed everywhere had a smart tv these days. :) Only having cable and a DVD player was disappointing for the girls who wanted to watch movies. Access to the Club was difficult since the keys did not work, so we could not get any DVDs for the sleepover, had to get help to enter for breakfast, couldn’t enter to order lunch from the pool, etc. I know that’s not the owners fault though. We visited the front desk several times regarding this but they said there was nothing they could do except prop the club door open. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway!
We came up to Purgatory to get out of the Arizona heat! The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. Check in and out was a breeze and the garage parking spot was nice to have. We will be coming back soon!

Fathers final wish
We stayed at this beautiful property during a visit to Durango during the fulfillment of our fathers final wished to ride the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Overnight stay to enjoy the Iton Hirse Bicycle Classic.

Great Snowboard Weekend
This was a perfect stay for a quick mountain weekend on the slopes! It was us and another couple and we loved each having our own room and bathroom, plus the location right in front of the lifts was perfect, we never even needed to leave the resort. It was a great stay and would stay again. Easy check and easy parking as well

Awesome!!
Well worth the 14hr drive from Texas!! More than convenient!! Especially with young ones. Best to pick up snacks for the kiddos and dinners to be made in the kitchen before arriving. Great amenities! Locker provided for Ski rentals! Very cozy and feels like home. More than we expected and hope to get back next year!!

The proximity to amenities (including short transit to to covered parking garage) was impeccable. Can’t say how much we enjoyed our brief stay… except that there must be a next time and that it must be longer!

Very nice!
Very clean and updated with large master bathroom. Easy access to the lodge restaurant / bar and game room. We are Durango locals, but wanted a weekend away and this was perfect.

The perfect location for our family vacation!
We could not have had a better experience during our stay in Mimi’s beautiful condo. The space was more than enough room for our family of four and provided the perfect “base” for our adventures in Durango and Silverton. However, we equally enjoyed our time at the resort and were constantly impressed with the variety of activities. The resort staff were also a highlight. We will definitely be back!

We were so happy with the location of this condo as we were attending a wedding at Dante’s Peak. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was so nice and convenient to be able to eat in the club restaurant as well. We were very happy with these accommodations!

Very beautiful and clean!! I thought we would be able to use the mountain coaster, etc, but was not open until June 14th I think. My fault for not checking in to this further, but would have been helpful to know from listing. Other than that, it was VERY VERY NICE!! Would stay there again!

We've ordered new sleeper sofa and adding a twin bunk in the second bedroom along with a queen bed to provide better sleeping accommodation. Please come back soon:)

Has anyone ever thought about the name of this mountain is the biblical name for hell. That’s what the blacks are. Almost all of them have big moguls. Lifts was a good restaurant nearby the resort.

A TRUE SKI IN/SKI out luxury experience... our girls-getaway HAPPY place!!
My mother-in-law, best friend, and I have been coming to Purgatory for years now. This is our second time staying at the Purgatory Lodge (none of the other buildings compare to the Lodge!), and we absolutely LOVED staying in Mimi's place this time! Not only was the condo comfy and in the perfect spot - but the owner, Mimi, was very responsive. We came across a few small issues and brought them to her attention, and right away they were resolved. It seemed like she was eager to make sure we had a great experience, so don't hesitate to reach out to her if you need anything. You can't beat this place - a reasonable rate for what you get access to. It truly is a 5-star experience!

We love our time in this rental! There was 4 adults and two teenagers. There was room for all of us. We could all fit around the table. The beds were comfortable. Except the pull out bed. That was very uncomfortable but we made due. We loved siting on the balcony and watching the skiers. At night we loved getting food and drinks in the members club restaurant. We would go to the hot tub every night. That was fun except there were a bunch of young teenagers with no supervision that was annoying. Check in was ridiculous. There were people siting at the desk and wouldn't even look at us but kept talking. Then they got up and left. There were a lot of people in line and they didnt care. It took them 20 minutes to finally help us. However we still want to go back and will try to rent this same unit next time we come!

A Convenient and Comfortable Place
Mimi's condo was a very comfortable temporary home. We particularly appreciated the nicely stocked kitchen, and it's location above the ski slopes was great. The television reception was problematic, but I suppose that can't be helped up on the mountain. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic trip!!
Wow! What a fantastic trip. Six of us stayed in the condo at Purgatory Lodge for our annual Purgatory ski trip. This was our first time staying at the actual lodge and I can’t wait to return next year! The condo was roomy and comfortably accommodated the six of us. The kitchen was well stocked with all the things necessary for big dinners. And the views of the main slope were fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised with the included access to the members only Durango Mountain Club! Private bar, lounge, and restaurant were great for evenings out. And FULL SERVICE at the hot tub!! Heck yes! And the absolute best was the easy access straight out to the main lift. Excellent skiing and phenomenal stay. Highly recommended!!
