Our 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath, 2,700 square foot home is located at Purgatory Resort and is 24 miles from downtown Durango (less than 30 minute drive). Enjoy the convenience of being at the ski resort, yet have the privacy and additional space of a house with a 2 car garage. The resort is both an amazing winter playground, and offers a wealth of all your favorite mountain activities in a cool and comfortable summer climate at 8,900 feet in elevation. For ease, there is a free on-demand shuttle to the ski resort.

The house features an open floor plan, gas fireplace, cathedral ceilings, high end appliances and great outdoor space including a gas fire pit, outdoor seating and a gas BBQ. There is also a ping pong table in the garage and shuffle board in the Loft. The home is located near the Purgatory Flats trail head, one of the finest and most scenic hikes in the area as well as a pond for fishing and in winter, there is a cross country ski trail right out the back door and Purgatory Lake is next to the property offering fishing and paddle boarding etc.

The home is pet friendly (2 pet max) and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250).

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer
travel insurance.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
