"Nice, modern hotel with a catch. New hotel is being constructed in front of AFA hotel and blocks view except for 4 rooms in the left corner. Also, expect noise from construction. This should be mentioned in the hotel description."
"The Aquila D is good value for money with a convenient location near the city center of Durres. Staff is friendly but the breakfast options could be more diverse and healthier. The bed and pillows were comfortable and facilities new. "

Unlike some places in the Balkans, the hotel is well set up and planned out: the HVAC is easy to operate and works, the shower is easy and water stays in the shower, no leaks. And the restaurant has delicious food, especially the the fresh fish and seafood. "

"It’s an excellent property itself, very spacious, modern and clean. However, second elevator didn’t work for some time, and we had episodes of no water or electricity. It was a problem, since our suite was located on 19th floor. For the last day, water was shut off completely without any explanation or apology."
