“It’s so beautiful, love the view and the house”

“Basic but brand new hotel. Conveniently looked with excellent parking. Hotel is attached to restaurant so staff easy to find during normal hours.”

She replied to all our questions really quickly, gave us great tips on hiking trails, and even helped us book a taxi with a local Georgian driver who didn’t speak English. The room was perfect for the three of us—spacious, cozy, and with the most amazing view of Mount Kazbegi and the church. We really enjoyed our stay!”

“Great choice to stay in Stepantsminda. The hotel is walking distance to the main town if you want to eat there. Yet, food at the hotel is spectacular!! I had both breakfast and dinner, and they were both amazing. Staff is super friendly; they made my stay very enjoyable. Lastly, the view!! It is really, really nice.”

“We had a great stay at 1740. It's a very homely and cosy hotel (good for the cold weather!). The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed talking to the woman on the front desk. Our only suggestion would be to reduce the size of the breakfast. The food was good, but we were only able to eat about a quarter of it. ”

“Even though there were some initial miscommunications (when we booked the listing said "entire place with 2 bedrooms" but they meant to say only one room), the host immediately sorted it out and gave us two very nice rooms as booked. The property is beautiful with a fantastic view of Mt Kazbegi, and a nice yard, and the host is very nice and accommodating. There is a common kitchen with all the amenities: a small oven, gas, electric kettle, so it was super convenient to also make some simple……
