「Indicated Breakfast was available on website. Discovered that was not reality. We had to go elsewhere because breakfast was just some bread to make toast, cereal and coffee. Staff indicated muffins were normally there but out of them by the time we went to breakfast. This is not what we were used to seeing at other stays in different hotels such as Comfort Inns.」

「Was not what was advertised. Ended up paying for a place we didn’t stay. We spent less than 2 hours there. Couches were covered in dog hair, place is not “secluded”, it’s in a neighborhood that isn’t very attractive and fire pit is in the front yard. Very disappointing.」

「Host was great with communication. We had trouble figuring out a thermostat setting and they had great communication to figure it out to make us comfortable. Cute place that was pet friendly.」

「Check in was odd. No one was available so had to call and got texted the room # and door code. Small issue with curtains off track, but got corrected quickly. The room was clean and nicely renovated. Outside doesn't give the same nice vibe. Quiet at night. The bed is the foam kind, so feels like sink into hole. Not to my liking, but others may like that style of bed. Overall satisfied with the stay.」

「I have stayed a a variety of motels and I can honestly say this one was the worst. The bedding was horrible, only flat sheets and a comforter. There were roaches in the room, I killed several. I found an ant in the microwave. There was a coffee maker but no coffee or cups. There was only one bar of soap in the room so you had to take it back and forth from the tub to the sink. The second floor balcony looks to be unsafe with rusted metal holding it up. There were a few people who just sat in...

「Very nice stay in an old Victorian house. The neighborhood and the town are unique and quirky! We stayed in the Captain Bridgeford room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was small but functional with a claw foot tub that has a shower.」

Despite being on a major roadway and it was a busy holiday weekend, the other tenants were quiet, road noise was minimal. The parking lot is a bit cramped but it’s a smaller lodge so to be expected. The staff were so considerate and helpful. Their recommendation for the Thai place around the corner was spot on. Delicious!
