Your dream vacation with up to 8 people in nature with all the comforts of a spacious house in beautiful surroundings on the tip of a peninsula just 35 minutes from Halifax (400,000 inhabitants)

Great view of the bay. Watch seals, eagles, porcupines and many other animals from the veranda. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets and look into the Milky Way at night without air- or light pollution: endless expanses.....

Fully equipped kitchen including clay bread oven. Bake your own bread!

3 bedrooms with double beds and 2,5 bathrooms in the main house. 1 bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower and living room with sofa bed in the adjoining house above the garage.

Equipped with garden furniture and parasols and gas grill. Fire pit on the veranda.

Free use of 3 kayaks, stand-up paddle, 3 golf equipment. Wetsuits and life jackets of different size available.

Super-fast fiber optic WiFi 1.2 Giga also at both piers, workstation with a view of the bay including printer, TV room with large Internet flat screen TV.

Large washing machine and dryer.

Fabulous, peaceful, beautiful home and location. Our son used the canoes to discover the local waters and as the water was at 24C he swam without a wet suit.The decks are bigger than we thought from the photos so we could sit in the sun all day. The house had everything you can need for a perfect stay.

The property was exceptional. It was spacious, could easily handle our extended family, with lots of extra rooms. The deck was incredible, allowing a lot of outdoor leisure time. Beautiful views from the house and from the docks (there are two). Also, the use of the kayaks and paddleboards was wonderful which both the adults and kids enjoyed. The property description really built up our hopes for the holiday, and the property itself exceeded even those expectations. It is a fantastic place to spend a week, leaving you wishing you had the time to spend a month.

Gorgeous Home, Spectacular Setting

My wife and I spent two weeks at "The Villa By The Sea" in E. Dover, Nova Scotia. While close to the iconic Peggy's Cove and the stunning Polly's Cove coastal hike, this home has a secluded feel. Turning down the gravel road and driveway, you come to this lovely home wrapped in decks, perched high above the water where you will see seals lazing and eagles soaring. Halifax is just 30 minutes away. Both the owner and property manager were responsive to questions. As I will always do when I have stayed at a property, I conveyed suggestions and minor maintenance issues to the property manager (e.g. light bulbs needing replacement, a toilet not fully flushing, etc.), but none of these detract from a very high quality home and the breathtaking views. We are always happy to return to Nova Scotia and would be very happy to stay at this wonderful home again!

Beautiful ocean front home, a short distance from Peggy's Cove

The property was beautiful and well kept and surrounds by lots of natural beauty. No immediate neighbors, so privacy was great. A short drive to Peggy's cove and about 30-45 minutes from Halifax downtown.
