"We stayed at Hotel Aaliyah for six days. It was located right on the infamous street of Nanluoguxiang. There is a Starbucks across from the hotel so it was easy to spot once we arrived. And perfect for getting a western breakfast. If you arrive in the morning, anytime before 11am, the street won’t be crowded yet. We had a ton of luggage and I had a little one in tow so it was a bit hectic to navigate around 6:30pm. An option is to contact the hotel, they are very helpful. I would suggest adding them on WeChat for easy communication. I wish I had done that prior to our arrival. On our last day they helped us with our luggage to the lobby and to the Didi car. The location was perfect. It’s about a 10-12 minute walk to the nearest subway station, line 6 and line 8. Line 8 conveniently takes you to Tianmen Square, Qianmen Street, and Wangfuging Street. Even though the hotel is located on Nanluoguxiang, it was pretty quiet. Please note that if you reserve an economy room, it is quite small, but the bathroom is pretty spacious. The room we had was a little outdated, for example, the walls and windows. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Lynn, Sherrain, and Nora help ordered items I wanted, provided directions, and provided general help. Other staff were wonderful as well. The hotel provides unlimited snacks, bottled water, tea, and coffee. You can also relax on their rooftop which was pretty nice. Overall, we had a great stay and the staff were wonderful. I would stay again."

"Everything was mostly OK. The location was interesting, close to many restaurants and about a 15-minute walk to the closest metro station. The bed was really comfortable, and I liked how the hotel had a lot of different essentials available for guests. My electric shaver broke midway through shaving, and the front desk was able to provide a manual shaver and shaving cream free of charge. I had mixed thoughts about the employees. The two male staff members were really helpful, while the female staff members were a little short."

"This hotel is located in a historic district near the center of Beijing, which makes it very easy to get to some of the attractions such as the Forbidden City. The hotel also has a beautiful ambiance. It really resonates with the surrounding area. The staff was also friendly and helpful. My friend and I spent a great time there."
