Its location was perfect ... easy beach access, close to the highway, etc. Everything we needed was supplied for us to enjoy the beach, cook our meals, or play games. There was only one full-size kayak with paddle and the paddle board paddle was broken (but we used it by kneeling on the board!). We would definitely return.」

「This is incredible find and Al, the host, could not have been more hospitable. The rental is so close to downtown New London and Niantic and the highway that it was easy to get to and from all major necessities and recreation. We loved the design of the guest house and had everything we needed (air fryer added from the pictures only). The grounds were meticulously kept and the pool was inviting and warm! 「We highly recommend Hemingway Retreat and we will definitely be staying here again. The cottage is clean, cosy, comfortable and has a nice ambiance. Caitlin has provided some snacks, sodas and water as well as a Keuring coffee maker and a variety of coffee. The property is quiet and is only a short walk to town, (sidewalks all of the way) which during the busy season alleviates trying to find parking. Walking at night felt very safe. Caitlin and Chris met us upon our arrival and were helpful...

「Lovely, well maintained property. Short walk to the shoreline and the neighborhood market (which has great coffee, muffins, shakes, etc). The fenced yard was wonderful for the dogs. Serene and quiet but friendly neighborhood. Excellent communication with property owner and easy check-in/out. Everything was as described on the site and it made for a wonderful weekend getaway!」
