It has a lot of space for parking and security for children and pets in the surrounding area...

Thanasis is an excellent host, the house is impeccable v well equipped and he was always avaialble for any assistance.The view from the terrace across Skoutari bay is breathtaking, the village is in the heart of the Mani ideal for day trip visits.. and one of its most beautiful beaches ( with a great taverna) is 5 minutes by car from Kalivia..We shall return.. sans hesitation.

Comfortable, breezy home just off the beaten path

Kalivia House met all of our vacation needs: wonderful view of the bay, useful amenities, plenty of space, delightful braying neighbor donkey, friendly outdoor cat, near to the beach and great restaurants. The host was very responsive and helpful. I wish we had brought some friends and family to help us enjoy the outdoor space. We also wish we had more time there to explore the area. Next time!

Amazing view

We stayed 6 nights in this accommodation, as a family 2 couples and 3 young people. The house is large and functional. Everything was ready for our arrival, everything was very simple and well described by our host. Quiet place, great serenity of the place, no noise, and above all a view that immediately attracts you and is unique. Very charming surroundings, Skoutari beach is really top, few people, fine sand beach, turquoise water, very clear, clean, no big complex as you can see too many elsewhere, it's wild as we like. We can easily visit Mani from this excellent starting point...and we take real pleasure in coming back every evening, turning off the lights, taking our time, and admiring only the spectacle of nature that is offered to you.

Private, spacious house with great terrace in one of the most beautiful parts of Greece

The location of this house is great if you want get away from the holiday crowds in Greece. Yet it is only 5 minutes drive to a very pleasant low key sandy beach with two seaside restaurants and a lovely byzantine church on the waterfront. There is a small mini market and restaurant in Skoutari a few ks away but best to get supplies in one of the bigger towns like Gythieo or Sparta. This is the second time we have stayed in this house and we will return again because it is in one of the most beautiful parts of Greece and suits us we don't like big tourist locations. The view from the terrace is spectacular and we had breakfast and dinner there each day watching the light change over the bay. The house is like a home, it has most things that you need and is safe and functional. The air-conditioning is a little inadequate on a hot day but the breezes on the terrace cool things down in the evening. This is the real Greece and driving the Mani Peninsular is wonderful. It is the kind of place one could hang out in for a few weeks and we will definitely be back.

Incredible View

This property has an incredible, breathtaking view! The terrace is generous in space and outdoor furnishings. Everything in the house was comfortable and clean. Host very responsive as well.
