「The location was great, facing towards the city centre while the river is out the back. Breakfasts were delicious with various selections as were the dinners. We went to their cozy bar every evening before dinner. Mostly, I enjoyed the old world atmosphere, especially the lovely sitting room. The staff was very professional yet very friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and sizable. Loved the place!」

「Excellent stay overall. Our courtyard room was small but had everything we needed. The spa was a standout - loved the outdoor heated pool and sauna. Dinner at the bistro was excellent as was breakfast. It is expensive but worth it for a night or two getaway」

「Lovely hotel with excellent pub attached, particularly good for a drink but also served good food.
Breakfast was also very good, and packed lunches are can be bought for anyone on a hiking trip if you arrange this the evening before」
