「Spacious room, lots of drawers and a wardrobe for storage. It was very quiet during our stay although there were plenty of other guests. Very comfortable bed, and the fan was great in the hot weather. Food was good (breakfast and dinner) and staff were helpful with gluten free options. Welcoming, comfortable hotel and we'll be back for another visit.」

「Was a little further from Selkirk than expected/noticed at booking but was worth the extra miles. Bus didn’t stop so had to book a taxi from Selkirk. The hotel was helpful and offered to come pick us up if needed! Food at dinner and breakfast was excellent.」

「After a long journey we were so pleased to stay at this B&B, we received a warm welcome, the building is beautiful with lovely views and our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. 「There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way.」

Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy.
