「I love coming here; the town of Lockeport is peaceful and friendly and the surrounding area is simply beautiful—spectacular ocean beach, miles of trails, and good fresh air. I always leave more at peace and fit. Everything is close by—groceries and pharmacy. The people are welcoming and I never want to leave. Accommodation at the inn is comfortable and clean and the hosts very helpful.」

「Peaceful and clean. Wonderful.」

「This was exactly what we need! They accommodated our every need, even welcoming our small dog. Our cottage was clean, well equipped and plenty of space for all. Everything was exactly as they described so the only surprise was how truly beautiful it is. Thank you.」

「Unbeatable location on one of the most pristine and breathtaking coastal locations in North America. Quiet, dark-sky location in quaint Nova Scotian seaside town with well-maintained, scenic boardwalk through coastal bays and a newly-inaugurated bird sanctuary on an isolated promontory. Spectacular historic location with weekly beach market, annual fishing derby and more. Will absolutely return! 「What a great spot, a historic apartment with all the amenities in the core of one of the most charming seaside towns that feels less touched by tourist hubbub. Great eateries, a gallery or two, a museum, historic fare. And walk to all of it and then home again from Shawn’s rental. A delight!!」

「Owners were very accommodating. Anything that needed their attention was dealt with immediately. The beds were very comfortable and the location on the beach was amazing.」

「Just a wonderful little town. We (4 of us) traveled to 4 Canadian provinces and we loved each one. Shelburne pace was just what we needed before coming home via the Ferry. It was so nice to settle in to this charming home. We were so happy to relax in such a nice space. Terrific communication with Dave! Thanks for everything…we’d love to return someday:)」

「The place had everything to enjoy a quick couple nights stay. Bed was comfortable. Furnitures, specially the chairs and sofa were bit old and needs maintenance. Loved barbecue availability in all cottages and even for motel rooms.」
