「A beautiful place, but what makes it special is the warmth and hospitality of the host and hostess, Joe and Jill. We felt at home. The gardens, room, and home cooked breakfast were wonderful. We would happily return!!!」
「When we drove up, we noticed a For Sale sign on the property. No one was present in the home, so we called the phone number which was provided inside. 「This is in a nice spot on Highland Lake with a large lawn leading down to the lake shore. The place is a little run down, but it was comfortable and pleasant.」
「The room we had was very small compared to what we paid for it. It was outdated and coul have had better lighting. It was somewhat noisy because it was on the bottom floor and the water flushes from upstairs were frequent. Also, the adjoining bar and restaurant music was loud and intrusive.. The bathroom was very small and didn't have enough space for toiletries.
We did like the self serve continental breakfast and eating area, as well as the outdoor spaces.」
「This Inn is in a great location! It's on a quiet street, but close to North Conway, the White Mountains and Bridgton, ME. The building was beautiful and immaculately decorated and very clean. The only reason for 4 starts instead of five stars were that the dynamics with some other guests were difficult. There was a lot of noise in the hallways, including yelling and arguing, until late at night and I feel a stronger staff presence might have mitigated that.」
