“As soon as we walked in we had to open the windows , the whole house had a bad odor. They only had a roll of toilet paper in each restroom. We had to go purchase more toilet paper and some deodorant sprays. The house needs some updated furniture. Besides the TV in the living room , everything else is outdated. The table was wabbly , the sofas had a weird smell. Seeing the mouse traps around the house freaked out the kids.It served its purpose for the one night we started. We went to the Carlsbad……

“Great place for our stay visiting relatives who make their home at Alto….close enough to walk over but far enough for privacy! Single level (3 stairs only at the entrance) and well planned space for up to 6 people with the master and en-suite bathroom on one side of the house and two additional bedrooms and bathrooms in the other end, plus a great deck. We visit at least twice a year and will be booking this home again, and again!”

“It did not sleep 7 unless you count 1 king sleeping 3. Also there is only room for 4 to sit in the living room so if 7 adults go it is not enough room to gather and chat”

“Property is a dump! House is garbage. I wouldn’t go out after dark in that neighborhood. The outside is trashed. Total misrepresentation about the house. Wouldn’t stay there again if they paid me. Host ignored are my communications. Most of the neighborhood is abandoned houses, including those next door. Do not stay there.”

“We need not stayed one night, but it was nice and cozy. Didn’t use the fireplace because it was too warm. Enjoyed the patio! Nice area to go for a walk. It was nice and clean!”

“We loved our stay. We used it as our base to visit Carlsbad Caverns and White Sands National Park. The place looks exactly like it does in the pictures, with TVs in every room (except bathrooms). My kids loved learning and playing pool. There is a Walmart nearby if you want to get groceries and make your meals, and plenty of local and chain restaurants if you do not. We would definitely stay again. ”
