“The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Tucumcari, New Mexico was fantastic! Check-in was easy, the staff was kind and knowledgeable, and the room was clean and comfortable. I didn't eat breakfast, but it smelled delicious in the morning, and everyone seemed to be enjoying it. I would recommend staying at this Marriott and will do so again when I travel. Great job, Marriott!”

“Fairly new hotel on the north side of Carlsbad. Rooms clean and comfortable, hot and cold breakfast items. Everything works, would definitely stay here again. However, if you want to be close to the Caverns, this is a little farther away.”

“Breakfast was very good. Restaurant/bar in the evening was great! The bed had some body indention and should be replaced. The dog walking area with no grass is pretty different, but it was easy to keep clean. Overall a good experience.”

“Once in a lifetime Wanted to stay here because we love La Posada in Winslow, Arizona and this hotel is owned by the same people. But it is not of the same quality very much liked the history of the hotel and the town of Las Vegas. Bathroom was very clean. The bedding was very clean. The rest of the room is not carpets soiled draperies very dusty furniture quite beat up, but if you want to stay in an historical hotel, give it a try restaurant just okay.”

“To visit the caverns, we have to choose a hotel in Carlsbad. There was not much options out there. Everything was OK here, with an unfair price though. However I would assume there hardly is a better option around this area.”

“We couldn't believe how spacious this apartment was! Kristi, the manager, communicated with us before and during our stay, and even had a welcome basket with goodies waiting for us in the kitchen. Our unit had a great living room, full kitchen, bedroom with two big beds, and pull-out sofa. And TWO full bathrooms. After a long day of hiking, it was just perfect for the three of us. We fully recommend High Plains Lodge!”
