PERFECT FAMILY ESCAPE!
While we wished for weather that was slightly better, we still enjoyed every minute of our 3 days. The weather didn't stop us from using the Kayaks or trying to catch a crab or two. the yard was perfect for exercising the kids and the puppies. It was a short easy drive into town, for some shopping, eating and even a visit to a rum distillery. The wineries were all closed at the beginning of the week this time of year. The house was supplied with everything we needed. The listing was spot on, and there was more than enough room for all 10 of us. The kids were even talking about a return visit when the pool is open.. that says a lot!! We all would highly recommend this home for a relaxing time to reconnect with family. It was everything I hoped it would be. thank you!

Great space for a group
Property exactly as described and was a great fit for our group of eight adults. All remarked about the beautiful views. Large dining table that was perfect for game night. Enjoyed blue crabs on the screened in porch where the table was again big enough to seat all of us. Well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, with plenty of towels. We even used the Murphy bed, which was comfortable for one person. Kitchen was well equipped except for the induction cookware which we learned won’t bring a pot of water to boil on a gas stove! Appreciated and enjoyed the yard games. Did not kayak as it was quite windy the day we had planned for that. We did use the pool as the water temperature was still comfortable. Convenient to both Easton and St. Michaels. Was some confusion about a later checkout which the host said was available but then housekeeping showed up at 10 am anyway. Not an issue as most of us had already departed and we just enjoyed the deck for a bit longer. Great place which we would consider renting again.

Family Fun
Our stay at the Ingleton house included 6 adults and 4 kids, ages 8, 9, 10 and 13. We fished, kayaked, hiked, rode bikes, swam in the beautiful pool. I brought a badminton net that we set up across the huge backyard. Plenty of space to play. We also played baseball. There’s ample room out back for a 9 yr old slugger to get a few hits. The location was a short drive to St. Michael’s. We had ice cream at Justine’s and dinner at the Crab Claw. Lovely town, beautiful house, great location. We had a terrific time.

We had an awesome family weekend at this home. It was spacious, clean, accommodating (they provide baby toys, pool toys, pool towels, etc), and the views are unbeatable. I hope to come stay again in future years!

Immediate relaxation!
Wonderful location, property, & home. Exceptional waterfront! Instantly felt relaxed as we stepped through the front door. Home very inviting and comfortable- pictures didn't do it justice! Enjoyed the pool, kayaks, & seeing all of the varied wildlife. We rented a boat for the week and explored the great area and visited St Michaels by boat (& car). Wonderful memories for 3 generations of family members were created. Only minor issues were the fire pit didn't work (owner contacted and responded quickly) & sofa sleeper in office unable to be used.

Property for all ages
We are a family of 5 with a college-age daughter and 2 middle schoolers. All of us loved our time at this beautiful property. The kids could kayak & paddle board on the calm, shallow river and they all enjoyed exploring off the dock—we saw jellyfish, crabs, and many different birds. The adults, too, could enjoy sunset with a glass of wine or coffee. After sundown, it was game time! The homeowners provided lots of games and bikes that guests could use. When we had questions, they were quite responsive & accommodating. We couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent inside and out. Well kept, clean, and well stocked with almost everything you need. Had a great time, a great experience and looks just as good if not better in person. Docked a boat as well, quick access to the bay from the Miles River. Perfect stay.

Golden Wedding Anniversary
As everyone before us has stated, the Ingleton house was perfect for a family vacation. In this time when traveling has become uncomfortable, we relished our time with family. Everyone was comfortable with plenty of outdoor adventures. At one time, we had an armada of 8 kayaks floating down Hunting Creek to the Miles River, while our 5 month old was enjoying his first splashing lesson in the pool. We enjoyed every minute. The host was right on top of everything, including my left behind bathing suit. Thank you, we appreciate your hospitality and lovely home,

Enjoyed our stay! Look no further!
My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. We celebrated Thanksgiving and were surprised to find the kitchen so much better equipped than most vacation rentals. The waterfront view is amazing and is easy to see from every angle. The owners thoughtfully stock the things you will need to begin relaxing right away. We’d be happy to stay here again. Special home with a view to die for
This is truly a special home on the water. The home is well cared for, decorated tastefully, and extermely comfortable. The owner is very nice, caring, accommodating and left us a very nice welcome packet. I highly recommend this property and would love to stay there again sometime soon.

Wonderful home on the Chesapeake What a beautiful setting. What a nice home with lots of rooms for sleeping and relaxing. The sunsets were amazing. The kitchen was well-stocked. There were lots of activities to do. The Chesapeake is such a wonderful place for a family vacation.

If you’re contemplating booking, wait no more! I can’t even recall how many homes and different areas we looked at before booking. We ended up booking this for a week with our immediate family (lots of adults and 1 child). We enjoyed every minute. It’s all even better in person! Some standouts: spacious and comfortable, well stocked, amazing pool and views, kayaks, near great restaurants. We spent most of our time at the pool (so many nice seating areas!).

Lovely and comfortable house. Perfect location on the water, 15 mins outside of st Michael’s. We enjoyed the pool and screened in porch, took the kayaks out and relaxed. Hope to be back next summer!

A perfect setting for a family retreat
This large house with an absolutely beautiful view was perfect for my family. The place had everything we needed, especially for cooking (we did not get to use kayaks or bicycles, regrettably). Minda was a great host with her quick responses to any question we had. A wonderful find!!

Chesapeake Family Vacation
Beautiful waterfront property! My husband and I took our family to this great vacation home. We really enjoyed living on the Chesapeake Bay for the week. Excellent crabbing, fishing, swimming, and watching the sunset. Very spacious home and designed well for family games, eating, and enjoying the view.

Beautiful views; comfortable house, lovely neighborhood situated between Easton and St. Michaels.
The house was nicely designed with multiple sleeping areas, a comfortable well-equipped kitchen and eating area. Had trouble with getting the TV to work (a challenge even for 6 tech savvy women) but we spent more time enjoying the out-of-doors.

Nothing but great things to say about this house! After my parents had a slight change of plans, Minda accommodated them a night early. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for 6 adults and a toddler. Definitely the most well stocked house we’ve ever stayed in, especially for kids (cribs, toys, dishes, etc.). The Baja deck in the pool with the umbrella was absolutely perfect for the toddler. The pool, hammock, dock, Adirondack chairs were all as advertised and led to a very relaxing long weekend watching beautiful sunsets. None of us wanted to leave! Hopefully we’ll be back!

40th & 2nd birthday celebration
Just had an incredible week celebrating my 40th and my son's 2nd birthday! The setting is beautiful and the outdoor activities were endless (pool, hammocks, kayaking, fishing/crabing, great yard for volleyball, etc.). We brought two waverunners and kept them tied to the pier all week without issue - water was generally calm being sheltered behind the island. The neighborhood boat ramp two lots north of the house made it easy to launch but putting them back on the trailer was a challenge, even at high tide. The house is very comfortable and well equipped; best stocked house we've ever rented. If you have young kids we felt the house was very safe for them as well as a high latch on the screened porch door prevented them from getting to the pool without an adult. We felt very welcomed in this beautiful home and I thank Minda and Steve very much for sharing a house that they truly love spending time in and caring for. We'll be back for sure!

Fabulous!
Spent three nights with eight family and friends and two pups. The house was perfect for our bunch. Loved all the windows overlooking the water. Very comfy LR and BR furniture. Spectacular spot/home
Our family had an incredible stay at this home. The house itself was immaculate, comfortable, and importantly, had an A+ bay view. I felt far, far away from home, even though it took only an hour and a half to get there. The drive to both St. Michaels and Easton Is easy and I loved passing by older farms and fields, not to mention the view from a nearby drawbridge. The owners were responsive in every way and I was grateful to find a rental that is updated and a joy to be in. Also handy was the nearby Harris Teeter! I am already planning my next trip!

A perfect place for a weekend or for two weeks.
This Easton property is just perfect. Close to the town of Easton and also to St. Michael's with wonderful restaurants and food shopping at hand. The house is beautifully sited with amazing views all throughout the day. The interior is expertly decorated, very clean and very comfy. Perfect for couples or families. Everything you need for cooking and eating and games is there. And the pool with its shallow end to sit in is the perfect place to spend a hot day. I look forward to going back again and again.
