"Clean room / bathroom and very comfortable beds. Great location 10 mins drive from Boyne mountain and 7 mins walk, 2 mins drive to multiple restaurants around the corner. Quiet location. Rooms are showing their age a little but if you want a good deal for a place to stay without the frills, this is it. Self-serve breakfast, bagels/ cream cheese, muffins, snack bars, oatmeal, coffee, assorted pastries, juice, yoghurt. Perfect for us. "

"Please allow me to start off saying that the greeting upon arrival was unmatched. Cheerful, positive and full of energy. Secondly, the house is PERFECT and Mrs. Terry and Mrs. Amber were the GREATEST!!! The home was clean, room was a nice size, water was hot with excellent water pressure and a wonderful location. I read a few reviews where others said traffic was bad. There is traffic but nothing bad at all. The breakfast, ESPECIALLY the homemade blueberry muffins were phenomenal. "My wife and I had a wonderful stay over Valentines. Charlevoix House was very warm and comfortable. Our host, Steffan, made us feel right at home and welcomed. And, he is an excellent chef and baker! The breakfast spread was one of the best we have experienced when staying at B&B's. Our room was spacious with a nice view of Lake Michigan. Location is fantastic - just a short walk will get you right into the center of town and all activities."

"The lodge was very nice, very clean and a great location. Check in was super easy and we had no issues with that piece. Our only negatives are I had a difficult time sleeping because the mattress was extremely firm. My wife thought there could be a couple wall hangings to make the room have a warmer feel. Overall an outstanding stay."
