Charming English cottage by the beach

Wonderful property and we have returned many times. Beautifully appointed with charming English garden. Only negative was we were given wrong key lockbox code and took 30mins of holding on telephone before we got a live person at 11pm who was able to get property manager. Rest of stay was excellent.

This is such a peaceful place to stay

My sister and I came over for a much needed sister weekend and this place was perfect. We both had our own room and the cottage is so charming with wood beams throughout. Outside the property has two fountains (not working now due to winter) and a cute fenced in courtyard. Super close to downtown Eastsound. Would be a great walking get away. It across the street from the bay. Super restful land the home had most everything, bring your own seasonings for cooking.

Not for handicapped persons

My wife is handicapped and uses a walker. There were no indications that this property would be a challenge for her. The entrance flagstones are not level and posed a safety challenge for my wife. The furniture was very low to the floor, which wouldn't be a problem for most people. But my wife could not get out of the couch even with help from me. We had to call the EMTs for their assistance. The heat had not been engaged before we arrive and it took over 4 hours for the small space to warm up. We left the property due to safety concerns before 24 hours were up. When we requested a refund or prorated refund due to the situation, management refused. This property should have a description of the challenges for handicapped persons.

Perfect location, beautiful setting!

We enjoyed everything about this house and had a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay there again. The only thing the owners might consider doing is cutting the bushes a little lower in front of the living room window in order to better enjoy the beautiful view.

Wonderful cottage on Orcas Island

We had an amazing stay in this beach side cottage. It’s near the town area for groceries, bakeries etc. easy to get to the different site seeing locations on both sides of the island. Very comfortable for a family of 4. Kitchen modern with everything needed to cook meals and coffee and creamer. Our kids enjoyed finding crabs and clams every morning and eating on the patio overlooking the pond.

The location is ideal with the beach across the street and Eastsound literally a short walk away! Being centrally located created super easy drives to all parts of the island and was great for our daily hikes. My wife and I loved our room and my best friend loved the separate cottage for her private bedroom and bathroom. The sun room next to the main bedroom served as our teenage daughter's space, and although the room might feel small when the chair converts out to a bed, the space was perfect! We especially loved the unique touches throughout the space. We also saw beautiful great blue herons in the preserve right outside our bedroom windows!

Charming Property

Charming Cottage - Picturesque Location - Perfect Girl’s Weekend!

We’re Bainbridge Island raised girlfriends - 59 years young. We reside in different states and enjoy getting together annually for active girl weekend adventures. Crescent Beach Cottage was ideal! Conveniently located in Eastsound, a short stroll to restaurants and shops, beach walks, peaceful courtyard fountain, gardens, pond and bird estuary. Beach cottage charm and details were appreciated from our designer’s eye. Lightening storm over the sound was thrilling to watch from from our comfortable couch. Plan to enjoy a dinner in the cozy dining area. The cottage is fully equipped for cooking at home. Note to future guests - take time to read the binder (we wondered why the barbecue had no propane tank - it did just not connected).

Orcas has incredible natural beauty, lakes, beaches and hiking trails. The property has a tastefully decorated beach cottage theme. Yes, it is as charming as pictured! Great location for beach walks - a short stroll to fabulous restaurants and shops. Everything you need to cook at home and enjoy the view either in the private courtyard with the fountain and pond or the quaint dinning room looking at Crescent Beach. Comfortable and cozy - there were a few quirks, but overall we were extremely pleased.

My mother in law stayed in the cottage house and also loved that. It gave her some privacy and time alone. Easy, slightly uphill walk to Eastsound and across the street is a great rocky beach for collecting shells. The road noise out front was only slightly bothersome during the day and quiet at night. There is not a sidewalk the whole way to town, but a narrow dirt path, so my mother in law couldn't walk it - we had to drive her to town, but if you are in moderate shape, you'd make it just fine! Eastsound is a wonderful "home base" to explore the rest of the island/islands if you're looking for a luxury home to sip wine at the end of the day!
