We had a wonderful stay in the Captain's Suite! What a special little spot. The hosts have included everything needed for a lovely get away, I wish we'd stayed more than one night. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine on the lovely patio with beautiful views of the water. Do not miss out on the bakery across the street - it is outstanding. The description does not mention that the bathroom does have a larger than normal tub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of adventures.

Beautiful and clean with peaceful view.

Clean and fully stocked with all you need. Close in town with parking. Beautiful waterfront one bedroom rental. Wish that we had had more time to enjoy it.

Charming Condo With Beautiful View

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Captain’s Suite”! We loved the location and water views, so easy to explore lovely Eastsound and it’s wonderful shops and restaurants. The owners supplied every necessary amenity, the condo was spotless and super comfy! Would highly recommend!

Seaside perfection

What a wonderful stay in the Captain’s Suite. The location was second to none, the view of the water from the house was phenomenal, and each and every aspect of the house was perfect! We’ll be back!

Perfect retreat

This is a wonderful place to stay in every way. Located near Darvill’s bookstore, Brown Bear Bakery and easy walking to the park, shops, restaurants. The room has a beautiful intimate terrace with a lovely water view. There are steps down to the beach. Great kitchen and bath. Stay here for a lovely trip. Enjoy!

I booked this place for my parents and I, and they loved it. The views were amazing, and the location could not be beat. Only downside was the sleeping situation. The pull out bed had a very thin mattress that sagged in the middle. The queen bed wasn't much better and was also well worn.

The space is very well kept and cozy. The only downsides are the noisy area directly outside the door (a bar and grill), the parking isn't great, the entrance is in an alley with dumpsters from said bar and grill, and the view of the water isn't as great as I had hoped but overall the property manager and the room itself were great.

Girls Getaway

We had a lovely week on Orcas Island. Place was great and had everything we needed. Walkable to area restaurants and shops. Loved being able to look out over the water and sit outside. Having lwasher/dryer was very helpful. The only negative was the sleeper sofa mattress was very thin and you could feel the springs

Get away

A lovely little space with a lovely view. Super clean and thoughtfully hosted. We didn’t realize the neighbouring building is a restaurant with the back kitchen door opening almost directly across from the suite: the restaurants door was open later into the evening/night and was quite a bit noisier than I was expecting. The hosts do supply a white noise machine in the bedroom.

Orcas Island Cycling Trip

Perfect central location to explore the island. VRBO fully stocked with all necessities for active couple that prepares breakfast/lunch and enjoys dining out for dinner. Cozy, quaint, space with STELLAR view of Eastsound. Delicious restaurants are walking distance. VERY clean. Patio very roomy and spacious. Left our bikes overnight without issues. Would for sure book again.

Plenty of room, & the view is amazing!

We had a fantastic weekend in this space. The building is right next to the stairs that take you to the beach when the tide is out. We spent a lot of time in the big Adirondack chairs on the patio. Conveniently, the fencing around the patio was secure enough that our little 8-lb dog could not escape. The bathroom was surprisingly large, & as a person who runs cold often, I appreciated the wall heater, so I didn’t shiver in the shower. The bathtub was deep enough that I ran next door to the botanicals shop & got a bath bombThe one bummer about this space was the ant invasion we had to contend with all weekend. Not out of the ordinary for the PNW, but it made it pretty impossible to roll out my mat to do some movement without ants crawling onto my mat. We found a broom to sweep the ants up, but could not find a dust pan, so I just swept them out the front door as best I could.Other than the constant ants, this place was stellar!
