Spring Break

Our family enjoyed our spring break in Eau Galle. The house was perfect size and location. Management was easy to work with and flexible with requests. We would for sure stay again.

Paradise on the Water

Extended weekend with my children, and could not have asked for a better location. 2 boys, 2 girls - the boys had a great time fishing from the pier, and we were close enough to Eau Claire to do some shopping with the girls. The layout of the house was incredible - plenty of room in the kitchen for game nights, and a great family room space for movies as well. Highly recommend this location for groups or families, you won't be disappointed!

Ladies weekend

Our group of 10 gals, all over the age of 50, had a nice stay at this Eau Galle lake home. The property was very clean and had plenty of seating for all of us to watch TV, play game, do puzzles and eat. The kitchen was very large and was perfect size for our group. The view of the lake was stunning. A few of the sleeping accommodations were hard on our older bodies. Also to note that the kitchen was without napkins or plastic wrap/tin foil. Thank you for the nice weekend!

Absolutely Amazing

Our group of friends has been renting cabins/houses for the last 15 years for our annual get-a-way, we pick a new location each year and this one is by far one of our favorites. The location was perfect in this small town. The layout was perfect for our group and was within walking distance of the local watering hole where the locals were welcoming and so much fun. The owners were great at communication. We hope to stay here again next year! thank you for all the wonderful new memories we made!

Very nice

The lake is shallow .. there's a decent amount of weeds because it's shallow, but it was nice to kayak. We've fished a lot, not a lot in the lake, but we had a blast and the property& house is beautiful!

Peaceful stay

House is great. Neighborhood near by wasn’t great, but felt safe. Water was greenish, but kids still had fun swimming. Beautiful and peaceful property, house was clean and as described. I’d recommend.

Nice place

Place was just like the photos, but a different set up as the kitchen is in the basement. Hot tub their was no directions and all buttons were worn so you couldnt see what they were for. Water in hot tub never for above 70 so we were unable to use it. Water also looked very low and note on outside said not to add water. Overall a great place but near nothing. A perfect place to get away from the city.

Great place for annual girls’ weekend

We booked this house for our girls’ weekend and it was wonderful. Plenty of space to be together and also enough rooms for us each to have our own bedroom. Had a slight problem with the fireplace and hot tub (2 of the main reasons for choosing this property) but managed to sort both out. Only other slight negative is the water pressure is low, so if someone uses a faucet when the shower is running, the water dwindles to a trickle. However, these were minor issues and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to this peaceful and relaxing home. Plenty of towels, well equipped kitchen, gorgeous setting and so much space. Good communication from property manager,

Very nice lake house

This property was a quick drive from the cities. It was directly on a beautiful lake with some lovely scenery. Its right by a boat launch and has its own dock. Four bedrooms. One (Q+2T) was slightly away from the others - the rest all on the same slightly upper floor. Hot tub was nice, kids love foosball and the beach. House was very well stocked (typical rental things). We had a great long weekend with kids and friends. We rarely considering visiting a rental again as we like to go new places, but this house was very nice and the kids loved the water.

Excellent property

Excellent property with many things to do. It rained 1 afternoon so we played bags in the detached garage. The kitchen is also located in basement so its ex access from the lake front. Just an excellent get away !!!

Lovely stay in Eau Galle

We very much enjoyed our girls' weekend at the house. The house has everything you need for a relaxing and fun weekend. Check in was very easy and communication was top notch. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Family vacation

The layout of the house was great. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. We did however had a leak in the ceiling on the main floor bedroom which resulted in lack of sleep due to the drops falling in the bucket, and had to move the furniture so it didn’t get anymore wet then it was. Lauren was very quick with getting back to me but couldn’t do anything about it. We did have a ping pong game out in the garage but I did a lot of cleaning before going on in. The counter tops (looking out the windows) and next to the refrigerator were disgusting. I also wiped down all the chairs. We enjoyed the outside area with the sand beach a lot.

Better than expected !

First of all, the communication was simply amazing. I had a question upon arrival and I was so pleasantly surprised by an immediate response. I was probably too needy because I texted a couple times with small questions and was reassured that I was not being a pest and the response was immediate. ( We grilled a ton and used a lot of firewood and they came and restocked within minutes after asking ) . The other reviews about the beach were spot on! Having 2 kids ages 5 & 8, they spent so much time in the water and it was shallow enough for quite a ways for them to play and we could sit in our lawn chairs without worrying. The yard was plenty large enough for lawn games and enough chairs for around the bonfire. The wood on site ( for purchase) was great too! The kitchen was by far the best indoor feature of the home. Fully, and I mean fully stocked with anything you would ever need and enormous! We had 12 people in the kitchen at times and nobody was in anyone’s way. The gas grill right outside the door was perfect as well. The only thing that should be noted, in the description there is a bedroom that says trundle bed but it’s a bunk bed and the master has a full, not Queen. We did a little rearranging and it ended up being fine but we would’ve preferred knowing ahead of time, perhaps the listing just had not been updated yet. And a tip: when using GPS and it says you have arrived , we started to panic a little because we were on a street of small non-lake homes and it was a public landing approaching but keep going and you turn into the driveway and a private oasis appears. The boat launch was busy on our last day but it did not affect anything we were doing and it was fun for the kids to watch. A very low traffic lake , and the kids caught fish right off the dock. Fishing and watching a bald eagle catch his dinner never got old. The detached garage with an extra frig was a great extra and plenty of parking . There is a main floor bedroom and bath for anyone that needs first floor living and you can go outside and walk down to the yard around the house if stairs inside are an issue for anyone with disabilities or older guests. The living room was huge and was so comfortable to hang out in too. We had a wonderful time and each year we try and stay in a different location but everyone agreed that they wanted to come back here next year. Highly recommended.

What a great experience!

First, the communication was amazing! . For those who have upcoming bookings, the location can be deceiving,when your gps says you are there and you start to panic because it’s nothing like the photos , keep going and you’ll turn into the driveway and relax. :).. The layout is perfect for a family that uses and gathers a lot in the kitchen. Everything you would ever need to cook is provided. The gas grill right outside the door is perfect too. The reviews of the beach were totally accurate, it kept the grandkids busy all day and at 5 and 8 they could stand quite a ways out. We used the yard and the fire pit every night and super convenient to pay for your firewood on site. Loved having the extra frig in the garage too . The only differences from the listing that would’ve been great to know is that the master bedroom has a full size bed verses a Queen listed and one bedroom had bunk beds which we weren’t expecting and with a disabled child we had to go grab an air mattress however with that being said, everything else was better than expected. This is our 5th year in a row booking an August vrbo rental and this is the only time we’ve all decided we wanted to come back to the same spot next year! Highly recommend.

Perfect location. A little strange bathroom arrangement.

We had a wonderful long weekend. A larger bad upstairs would have been nice instead of the full. Our adult children felt the location and size was lovely but a bit dirty in spots and burned out light bulbs. Hot tub was low on water but we didn’t use due to hot weather.
