Nous avons faites une très mauvaise découverte en levant les draps, un matelas dans la chambre du 407 troué jaunie et très sale, la moquette très poussiéreuse, des remontés d’odeur des égouts dans la salle de bain, une douche pas étanche du tout, du coup on avait constamment les pieds trempés, beaucoup trop de bruits le week-end avec les soirées jusqu’à 02h00 du matin, le petit déjeuner est très réduit pour les Vegan au vu du prix qu’on payer, je suis très souvent à Maurice et c’est la première fois que je suis au temps dessus d’un hôtel. Je ne reviendrai pas.

Hotel not as described - Pool closed.
Hotel not as described, the pool is and has been closed for months despite being advertised on the website (and hotels.com website) as being available, not the case. Ruined the stay. Hotel only willing to offer 10% refund which was rightly declined. Offer upped to include dinner, also declined. Hotels.com were worse than useless and their rep couldn't even work out 10% of the total, failed as basic maths and under refunded despite me refusing the refund anyway. Went to American Express who charged back 50% of the booking to the hotel and rightly so, taken 8 weeks to get the right decision but finally got there. Would never stay in this establishment again and will go out of my way to ensure everyone else we fly to the island doesn't either.

Stayed at the Hennessy the second time, after me complaining that our room wasn't cleaned until after 4pm on the first trip, it happened again. The hotel is under renovations are taking place late into the night even after complaining it didnt stop until at 11pm. The next night there was a party and music was so loud that we didnt get much sleep as it went on until after 1am.

This was a work trip and I took my wife we were very disappointed in that the hotel had some refurbishment being done and the swimming pool and pool area was out of bounds this was not highlighted when making the booking and paying full price. The breakfast was overall good but the food in the evening was poor so we only ate in the hotel one night there are eateries in walking distance. We did get a room upgrade which I may have got anyway as I am a Hotels Gold member. Wayne

My stay was very good. Should I recommend improvement if the quality of food and service at the restaurant. I appreciate a lot the friendliness of the staff at the reception. Why not offering a welcome drink at customers on arrival ?

Terrible night stay
It was a disaster - I have stayed at this hotel over 100 nights before - not sure if it is a change of owner that has caused it (my last stay was June 2022) but there was so much wrong 1. Aircon didnt work - 31 degrees outside - its a necessity 2. Dodgy plug in the room 3. 1 coffee in the 'tea and coffee provided 4. Sauna/stem area under refurbishment 5. Pool was having water treatment applied 6. no outside area due to pool being treated 7. Restaurant was poor service 8. No bread with dinner - not major but grouped together made to feel left out 9. Fish main meal - literally one piece of veg and a splatter of sauce - finger prints on plate dont like to complain and was only staying overnight as it was £170 per night - quite a hike on usual pricing

Hotel staff removed cash from wallet. Manager was supposed to follow up on Police report. But remains unavailable. Would not recommend staying at the hotel as it is not safe.

Great services, Nice stay, Average food
The customer service is really on point: great communications via e-mail and warm welcoming at the front desk. I was greeted by the F&B manager and presented with the menu option in a professional way. The hotel and rooms were beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. While there was a strange sound coming from the air conditionning system, a technician came within minutes and fixed this. The services at the restaurant was very good. My only remarks is that for a 4-star, the food was not bad, but it was not memorable. I did order some fish & chips, and a beef burger at the Backstage Lounge for dinner. It was average overall. I did have some other options too, at the 2 other restaurants at the hotel. Breakfast service was 5 star. Breakfast content was Average. No buffet. If you want to have great business services, in a perfectly situated business location, this is the place. If you are looking for gatronomy, you might consider some other options.

Business hotel with a great vibe
I stayed at the hotel for 2 days on Business. The location was great as I could walk to all my meetings. The staff were very friendly, the room was great - loved the décor. I will definitely recommend the Hennessy Park Hotel.

Arriving into my room i was impressed by the size and decor, huge comfortable bed, large LCD TV , iron and board in the closet, comfortable chairs. Dinner and breakfast buffets(with omlettes to order) were very good, but the service staff were excellent, genuinely warm and friendly

If you can imagine a property that claims 4 stars but has rooms with leaking windows (resulting in damp carpets) and poor ventilation overall ... This was my room ... Hardly comfortable! The restaurant area and bar is nice, though bar staff seem to be working in the slow lane (took ages to get served)!

Lively and accommodating
The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. There’s an active nightlife with the lounge and restaurant so that guests don’t have to travel far for fun. The rooms are very modern and artful. The staff accommodated us during check out so that we don’t feel rushed. I would recommend this hotel to those that enjoy trendy and chic.
